Missing Tow Hook?
 

My FR-S didn't come with a tow hook. Did yours? The dealer says they don't come with one. There's a hole in the trunk foam for one. Sounds like BS to me. The car was also missing the wheel caps when I bought it. I think somebody raided the car for their personal FR-S.

They probably used it for transport and never put it back in.

dealer doesn't know what they are talking about. Off the top of my head, there's a tow hook, jack, screwdriver, spare and tool to remove lugs.

Does everyone's car come with a shit ton of first aid kits and jumper cables? I haven't gotten mine yet, but I watched a review where he said it comes with that stuff.

I would think it would come from the factory as it is not an "accessory" along with the jack. I think your dealer just tried to blow you off.

There is a tow hook, and you are suppose to have wheel center caps as well. Get this shit straighten out from Scion! I cant believe you got hosed from this deal, they might as well give you some cash back so you could go get some Toyota center caps.

Jumper cables? I'll check the trunk, but I never got word of any jumper cables -- I have my 1st aid kit with the manual and a pen for the car though.

What dealer is this? Wheel center caps are standard. Someone is pulling some shenanigans it seems

I got the first aid kit. No jumper cables. The wheel caps were installed today and came for free. They were just missing and had to be ordered. I'll see how the tow hook works out before I post a dealer name. I also want to make sure my USB is working. I've just loaded up the USB key with music to test.

Yeah almost all cars come with a tow hook, your dealer is definitely blowing you off. Good thing you found out now and not when you would actually have to tow the car.

I could be mistaken, but I think thats just for the GT86.

Yea, they should come with a tow hook. Right next to the combo. flat/phillips head screwdriver in the trunk.

wheel caps are on the wheels.....:bonk:

small "caps" on the center of the wheel with the scion logo (or in your case subaru)

Doubt they use them for transport - there are permanent eyes built into the frame under the car for that.

FYI, the salesperson ordered a hook and will ship it to me. I'm also looking at making a low-cost, home-made hook solution.
