started tuning for it today. so far so good. the guy who's helping me tune really knows his stuff. can't wait for spring to really fine tune it and turn up the boost. :D

Is it hard to find places to fill up in your area?

not hard at all. i got an app for my droid that lists out any alternative fuel stations within a certain radius, and you can filter by E85, CNG, LPG, etc... there are 25 stations within 75 miles of me.

That's not too terrible. I have a buddy running E85 on a heavily modified and tuned Evo, and he has to drive 20 minutes to the closest gas station that has it.

I'm planning a trip to Columbus in my Subaru that drinks E85. While I don't have a smart phone, my girlfriend does, and I would like to know the location of E85 equipped stations. Thanks for the input.

yeah, now that i've been actively looking for stations, there are more of them around than i expected.

your best bet in the immediate area seems to be the Thornton's up by the Edinburgh outlet mall off I65 exit 76. this is according to my phone; i've yet to fill up there. what are you coming down this way for?

My girlfriend is into anime, so we're going to an anime convention there on the 27th. I'm not really obsessed about it[neither is she,really], but it seems like it might be fun.

I'm trying to work it out, but since I average 170-240 a tank, it might be a little difficult.

i actually really like the OEM 93 wheels, haha. i wouldn't mind some nicer wheels for the street and just keep the 93s for track duty on slicks, but for now, it's 93s all around!

any more info about it? if i'm in town that might be fun to attend. i'm not huge into anime, but i enjoy it well enough.

Love E85. Been running it in my car exclusively for almost two years now. It doesn't know how to knock, even with 11.0:1 SCR, 11 pounds of boost, and 29 degrees of timing at WOT.

priorities changed a little bit, and it didn't make sense for me to have the money tied up in it. made it a lot easier for me to get some things done on the MR2 (such as the fuel pump) and will make it easier for me to get a house sooner rather than later.

I pull the filter cartridge every 5-8K miles and clean it. I also check the injectors every 1500 or so miles to check them for the famous 'black goo.' The car only has 19K miles on the odometer now.

How much did you pay for that bad boy? I got mine brand new from royal Moore Toyota for $285.

found mine used for $250. when did you get yours? i think a few months ago they were having a sale on them, but as far as i know, there aren't any new ones at dealerships anywhere now.
