What color would you paint a miata?
 

So me and my friend are thinking of tearing apart a old 1990 miata he has had sitting in his yard for years. He wants to throw a hardtop and fender flares/widebody and repaint along with some deep dish wheels.

What color would you paint such a car? Im voting black so far.

Yellow. First gen Miatas look awesome in yellow.

Light blue.

I find that light colors suit the Miata better since the curves of the car are very soft and mellow.

If I owned one, I'd want to disguise it as an MG Midget so I'd go either with British Racing Green

I've owned 5 in the past 20 years with all different colors and my favorite color is still from my 1992 -- Blue.

Orange.

brg or mariner blue are probably the coolest colors. what was the original color? thats probably what you should paint it since it look best that way. my current miata is red and i hate it.

I'd go with the original color, unless he's stripping the whole thing down so it doesn't have stray color in the engine bay, door jambs, etc.

BRG. Or maybe Road Cone Orange.

Red. So it can look like every other Miata ever!

Pink. HOT pink.

If I was going to rock a miata this is how I would do it.

Brown

Hot pink, nothing else, without a doubt, no question, no alternative.

Matte purple

Yea, I only like it on small cars like the MG or Miata, although we did own a green Lumina LTZ that I thought the color looked good on.

Not black! you want to bee seen by other drivers so u don't get crushed.
Black is the hardest color to keep looking clean.
