Man, that is actually a great exhaust! Not too ricey sounding but no rumble either BUT very nice nonetheless

Thanks for the link. The Exhaust sounds really unique. Most engines are 4 inline and no matter what you do the exhaust, it still sounds like a 4inline.

A boxer will always stands out from the crowd.That's what I always love about the boxer engine. I prefer the blokey blurb of this Boxer than a rumble of a V8.:D

Actually the sound produced from a boxer engine that you're referring to is caused entirely by the exhaust manifold runner length - NOT by the cylinder configuration. By being unequal, the exhaust pulses come out at uneven intervals, causing a "rumble" instead of a "buzz." The firing order is equal on the crank - 180 degrees.

That specific modified car's exhaust (headers) may have been chosen to cause that rumble to make it distinct, but often equal length headers that create a scavenging effect will make engines breathe better up top.

Expect the stock FR-S/BR-Z to sound pretty similar to any I4-powered vehicle on the road.

It's all about flow. More flow at a given RPM means more torque there.
