OHHH! that was you i was talking to at Bathurst! :D

I was talking to Grant and then went over and spoke to you and didn't even know it was you! LOL!

not sure if you remember but I was the Asian guy with another lady name Jasmine and we were there for the 86 Parade. :P

and if were on the track I was the guy in the white 86 with the green P plates LOL! with Kat (Pedder's Racing organiser, I think) as Passenger.

Yes I do remember.. that was a nice drive.. the AE86 and I got a taking to by the Course car because I waved him along side for that great photo shot at Skyline and again on Conrod.. hope you got some pics.. that was the original Bathurst 86 !!

Fast Fours are going to do a studio shoot next week so standby for that :)

So what class did you end up being placed into?

Still waiting on CAMS to give me a proper log book but they told me I should know next week... Then again they have said that for six weeks !!!!
I ran in class C with the 3 litre 6 cyl BMW s .... Can't figure that one?

17 x 7 Team Dynamic Racing wheels in Matt black with a +35 offset,
Dunlop DO3 Direzza semi slick, 215,45 17. (Hard compound) I am thinking about running the medium next time.. have to be a cold day though or they will wear quickly according to the Dunlop Race people..

Did you choose 17x7 because of some wheel restriction? Just wondering why you went with stock size.

Yep .. rules are standard wheel and tyre size.. 235 would have been better

Just did a photo shoot for Fast Fours so it will take about three months .. the studio pics were fantastic .. Chris the Photographer is a legend with a camera..

Qualifying went well and put us on 10th .. then I had a question raised about my rear dunlops.. apparently not on our list so I was forced to by two from the track.. they only had Hard ... So out I went on four green hard tyres in the wet.. lucky to be straight !!

I had a massive spin in front of the pack between turn 3 and four.. went from looking at everyone heading to me to spinning it back and grabbing second to get away .. lucky to get away with only loosing three places :(

The weather was just crap .. I could barely see out the window for Q1 :) Oh well Sunday is another day ..

No in short. I think the AMC is rather over priced and would cost us close to 10k to run against what will probably only be 12 cars..

We have chosen the NSW Production Car Championship as so far the fields have been 29 to 50 cars. At present we are sitting in 7th for the Championship. We need to do well in class and finish every race to have a shot at winning or at least getting on the podium at the end of the year.

We will be racing at Winton on the 6 - 7 July 2013. Sprints on the Saturday and Enduro on the Sunday.

Thats a shame :( 10k is a lot of cash, its unfortunate its so expensive.
I'm thinking of spending the weekend down at PI as it looks like an action packed weekend in general.

I will probably see you at Winton though, great place to spend the weekend :happy0180:
