Anyone in the Richmond area interested in doing a dyno day coming up. I'm planning on dynoing my car soon and thought it would be cool to see how some other frs/Brz in various configurations compare and we could get a discount.

As for pricing:
- normal price is $75 for 3 pulls
- 1-5 = $65
- 6-10 = $60
- 11-15 = $55
- 15+ = $50

If you are having people pay in advance to get a final number we will go by what you assume to be the closest number of cars and if everyone shows up in the morning we will adjust accordingly if its more than expected before anyone pays to try and stay fair to everyone that comes and goes throughout the day. *I don't want the first 5 people showing up paying more than the rest, thats not fair.

Have a day set up at Performance Autosport on May 4th starting at 10 AM.

Where and when? I want to dyno my car after I get my header in and installed. I have some friends in Richmond so I wouldn't mind making a trip down.

vtmike 04-02-2013 09:46 AM

I was thinking performance autosport unless someone else has a better suggestion. As far as when, when ever works for most people.

PAS will definitely set up and run a dyno day for us. Kevin is the man you'll want to talk to.

swift996 04-02-2013 12:00 PM

Depending on date/cost, I'm down for that.

vtmike 04-02-2013 12:10 PM

From looking at their site starting price is 75 for 3 runs including a/f and price drops $5 for every 5 people bottoming out at $50. When is a good date and time for you guys?

Depending on the date and time, I might come and spectate.

swift996 04-02-2013 02:01 PM

The price is fine with me..I'll be up at Mid Ohio/Vacation June 1 - June 11. Perhaps in Late April or early May? I travel a good amount, so the sooner I know the better. I'm in if it's a day/weekend that I can be here. It would be good to get on the dyno before it gets too hot out.

xjohnx 04-02-2013 02:16 PM

i'm in, most likely whenever as it's only 20 min or so from my house.

draggin_az 04-02-2013 02:33 PM

im sure some the hampton roads guys will be down @Frostyman

Sargy 04-02-2013 02:35 PM

Id be down if @Sekal is driving down

Jahdai42 04-02-2013 02:55 PM

Date and cost?

vtmike 04-02-2013 03:11 PM

Cost is dependent on how many people show up. Pricing info is on the first page. Late April early may works for me. I'm hoping for a Saturday morning/afternoon. I haven't contacted pas yet about the dates they have available. Any Saturday late April early may that works better or doesn't work? The more people we have the better.

Can Sunday work? We can bring food and drinks on a Sunday (more like I can)

vtmike 04-02-2013 03:21 PM

That works for me. Just have to check if they will do it on a Sunday. The website says closed Sunday by appointment only, so depending on how many people we have they may do it.

If you're going to tag my ass, at least buy me dinner first. :slap:

xjohnx 04-02-2013 06:15 PM

i'm going to go ahead and speak for @civicdrivr and say he's in

UncleFester 04-02-2013 06:19 PM

I'd drive down for a day if its in May. April and June are pretty full for me.

vtmike 04-02-2013 06:36 PM

Does Saturday may 4th or 5th (depending if they allow Sunday) or Saturday the 18th or 19th work for people? Anyone have a preference? Looks like we have roughly 10 people right now.

Did he end up ordering the supercharger? It would be a good pre baseline or post install dyno either way.

I can add my Turbo FR-S to this if you're doing it while I'm there.

I know its a bit far from Richmond but at least for the NOVA folks if we want to setup a Dyno Day we are all open ears if the demand is there.

Our state-of-the-art enclosed dyno facility is equipped with a Dyno Dynamics AWD (2400 whp steady state) quad retarder loading dyno. Our in-house tuner received his EFI-101 and EFI-Advanced certifications from EFI University. He's also a GReddy e-Manage and Cobb certified tuner.

civicdrivr 04-03-2013 03:12 AM

In. When and where? I cant make it the weekend of the 19th though, but any other time I'm good.

vtmike 04-03-2013 07:59 AM

Does the 4th/5th (depending on what they say about Sunday) work for everyone? Their hours are 10-4 Saturday, I was thinking about asking about that time period for Sunday.

If there aren't any more objections I'm going to try to schedule it for the 5th first and then 4th if that's not available. Hope to be able to call after work.

I'm only about 10-15mins away...I'd be a fan of this.

civicdrivr 04-04-2013 04:18 PM

Any word on this? And are we definitely doing this at PAS? I want to get some before dynos done on the same dyno so I can limit the variables as best as possible.

vtmike 04-04-2013 05:02 PM

Called today and Sunday was a no go. So we are booked for May 4th starting at 10 at PAS.

Nice! I can still attend the Mid Atlantic Mega Meet on the 5th!

Also, for those that like to wake up at the ass crack of dawn on Saturdays, Richmond Cars and Coffee will be taking place on May 4th at 8am. I plan on being there. PAS is maybe 15 minutes away.

Me too. Maybe we can pick up some more participants and drop the price some more.

Can everyone that is still planning on attending respond so I can have a more accurate count to give them.

Lets start a list.

1. vtmike
2. civicdrivr
3.

BTW, did PAS say how much it would be per car if we had x amount of cars show up? And are these runs with or without an o2 reading?

Also, not sure if @wdninja has seen this.

I need to update the original post and put this info there. Initial pricing including o2 is $75 for three runs. Price drops $5 for every 5 cars until $50 where it caps off.

I'm in if it's on a day when I'm available. April is a busy month. Here's my availability for the next couple months: 4/20-21, 5/4-5, 5/18-19, 5/25-26.

Will do. I'll add the pricing after I confirm it too. Thought I saw it online for group pricing but don't see it now. I'm going to call them today.
