What did you pay OTD on your BRZ/FRS?
Wondering what some of you guys have been paying OTD on your purchases?
I'm still waiting to go forward with mine (BRZ), and haven't been able to pull the trigger. Been only getting quotes the same price as the website, probably because I look young and the dealers don't take me seriously. My friend in the US got his Limited BRZ for just under $29k OTD. Dealer paid for his delivery fees and threw in $600 in options as well. Makes me wish I lived there sometimes... Anyway, what OTD prices have some of you gotten so far? Please share! |
Paid 30300 OTD for base FRS 6M
|
31,695 OTD for BRZ Limited 6MT (lease)

Did you search before posting? I ask because this question has been asked multiple times before. Searching is a great function.
You can also check websites like TrueCar.com that lists values based upon what people have paid over a period of time. |

The prices we pay in Canada compared to the US is actually generally thousands of dollars higher, which is why I started this thread in the Canadian section. |
I paid 29625 OTD for a Whiteout FR-S with BeSpoke Audio and a trunk mat.
After 2k down I financed 27625 and @60 months have a payment of $455. (this is what I remember but will have to check tonight when I get home, could be a few hundred dollars off) |
I paid 32,500 OTD for a Limited BRZ 6MT with Popular Package 1A.
$12,500 down @4.99% for 60MO my payment is 393 and some change. |
invoice on brz-l

Why are all these Americans posting here? I don't think that's what the OP is looking for. ;)
My trade-in had negative equity, so I don't have much to add to this thread. I paid MSRP, but they bring up the sale price of the car to cover the negative equity with the trade-in and remaining loan balance. I think my OTD price was therefore around 40k. |

Paid exactly what the scion.ca site said, 29 and change with the grad rebate and pioneer upgraded radio (which sadly I ripped out immediately for an aftermarket install haha)

I'd be financing, so I think I'm stuck with the taxes regardless.... :( Not sure why car salesmen even exist when all they do is give you the price you already see on the website, haha. |

I think normally the salesmen only exist to shake you down for whatever they can get, particularly judging by some of these markups over msrp. |

So you'll be paying taxes on your monthly payments.

Ohh okay I see, then you'd be paying more or less the same as financing in the end. I went with financing because I wanted to own it after 2 years, and lease vs finance the final price was pretty much the same (finance was $100 more? or something).

You can also get a WRX for $25k USD. |
Yea, I'd probably have gone G37 coupe route in the states, It's like a $7k+ difference.

I'm thinking about financing, but just waiting on better Canadian prices and/or the 2014 model. I think I might end up waiting for a long time though... because the prices are still too high. :(

i paid the MSRP minus $750 grad rebate for BRZ Sport-Tech(Limited). I put $6000 down and financed the rest for 4 years.
|
I paid 900$ under msrp... no grad rebate just some good hard negotiating. Went to one dealer and was told no negotiating went to another and they were giving me 500 off went back to first dealer and made a deal at 900... was trying to get 1000 but cant fight over 100$ haha

i dont know if its a good deal but i think i got a fair one.
I bought a demo. Traded in a 2006 lancer with neqative equity, I owed 9000 still on loan and traded it in for 5000 (had minor paint and body damage and high km, been in 2 rear-enders in past) Kelowna, BC, Canada Car I bought was lease back with 28,000kms (a litte high but i drive a lot myself so not a huge deal) $28,573 - 2013 BRZ Sport-tech, fully loaded, including 3M protection $2,166 - 160,000km extended warranty so without my negative equity i owed I paid 30,739 + tax so in bc that would = 34,427 taxes included out the door but with negative equity from my old loan i ended up = 37,658.74 taxes included + financing but then I financed at 5.9% interest over 84months so ya with negative equity and waranty and all that my payments work to be $254-bi weekly. still an upgrade from my lancer. fair deal? what do you all think? picking up the car Saturday!!! |
paid msrp on a white frs back in july, but managed to get $1500 more than what i was offered for my trade in.....which was a 5 month old car with 4000km on it.....it was worth trading it in
i actually enjoy driving around now |
I paid $30,000 plus PST/GST for my 13' BRZ Sport-Tech at Subaru Calgary. Had to fly in from Winnipeg, the local dealer wouldn't budge off of MSRP
