1:18 model FR-S?
 

I have about 50 or so 1:18 and 1:24 scale cars I like collecting, usually exotics or just cars I like. Been searching around and can't seem to find any, or at least none available yet. I'm looking for a red one, preferably 1:18 and FR-S or GT86.

Jebus! That model is $200 on ebay! I'd buy one for $20 but no way I'd part with $200 for a toy car.

For an AUTOart, I'd go as high as $100. They're quality products and I have a few of them myself. I find the best value though are in the Maisto and Bburago. They are usually around $15-25, with working suspensions and steering. Interior quality isn't as good, doors aren't as nice, but it's a pretty dang good package for the price. AUTOart are extremely detailed to every part inside and out, interior, engine bay and all. They are also a lot more fragile, but it's top notch detail.

its most likely gonna be about 130 for auto art. I have the auto art ducatti sport 1000 (one of my fave motorcycles of all time)
Ill probably split with my money for a black gt86 (hoping frs tho) if it goes on the market

my personal fave brand is jada. their models may lack the steering or suspension mentioned in the other post but they are the most visually appealing.

Is that really the AUTOart model? I emailed them a couple months ago and they said they were working on it. They also don't have it listed on their website.

I've been waiting for this. They make some seriously good quality models. They're worth every penny I think.

Pretty sure those are much smaller than 1/18" scale. Unless that is a HUGE cup.

They do make it in 1:43 as well as the BRZ in the same scale. I'm going to shit when the Autoart BRZ comes out. These are both mine.

From the looks of it, that blue brz's wheels are scaled to 15" rims and not 17" lol oh well

I don't have everything displayed in my room, just my faves. Everything else gets packed instorage

Most of them are back at mom's place. Girlfriend and roommate aren't fond of having my whole collection at my place. :P

Off the top of my head though, I have 6 or 7 dodge vipers, a couple lamborghini murcs, a mclaren F1, couple of R34 and R35 GTRs, couple NXSs, S2000, EVO 8, 350Z, RX8, tC, AE86, F360 coupe and spider, F430 coupe and spider, F40, Enzo, Ford GT.... Handful of others. I'll try and get them all together to snap a pic next time I'm over there. Majority are Maisto and Bburago, couple are AUTOart. Most of them are red. :P

They usually just sit on top of shelves and entertainment centers. I blast em with can-of-air every couple weeks to keep the dust off em. Give them a good wipe down every now and then. No fancy cases or anything. Keeping em for sentimental value, not monetary.

I have all Toyota's but my fave one is my 1:8 Toyota F1 model

I have emailed AutoArt too regarding a AA BRZ and their response was "coming soon" :cry:

I just love AutoArt's detailing. I had their Aventador and LFA and the amount of detail and scaling is just incredible.

The only darn thing is how expensive they can get!

I can tell you right now the White Asia version will be the most popular.

If that thing was $12 then haul ass back there and snag it, assuming it's still there. :thumbsup: From the pictures, it doesn't appear to be broken so I don't know why they would price it that low. I wish they were $12 I'd get the white GT86 too, I already have the BRZ version.

I just ordered 2 of the 1:18 AutoART GT86 LHD models - very fortunate for it to be related to a work project I'm doing =)

I'll take some detailed pictures when I get them next week.
