San Diego Chapter
Valley Chapter
and now Inland Empire Chapter

This club is growing and organizing fast, I'm excited! If I could make one request, that all threads, facebook pages, or anything you create for this chapter be called "SoCal 86 Club Inland Empire chapter" or something along those lines. It's best for everyone if we keep it uniform to the SoCal 86 Club, then designate the various chapters.

I hope all the IE people make it to the Long Beach meeting this Saturday!

DAMotorsports 03-27-2013 11:55 PM

I will get with @DesertFrs and see if we can work something out

Yes I will be changing the name on the Facebook page tomorrow to SoCal 86 Club Inland Empire. If that sounds good to everyone? Facebook allows me to change only once before I have to delete it and start a new page. If everyone agrees to the top name I will do it tomorrow after work.

Not trying to thread jack but if anyone in the riverside city area is looking for a part time job go ahead and pm me. Wouldnt mind employing some frs owners.

JohnnyP 04-10-2013 02:29 AM

I know it's short notice and there's already another meet this Sunday (14th), but if anyone wants to come to the Chaffey College Car Show in Rancho Cucamonga there will be a lot of great cars from imports to classic muscle cars. My Fr-S will be there but unfortunately my '67 mustang wont be making it this year. Pm me for more info.

JohnnyP 04-18-2013 04:46 PM

So, any plans to meet up any time soon for this group?

Angeles Crest Highway Cruise, Mulholland Drive/Higway Cruise, Little Tunjunga Canyon Rd Cruise, San Gabriel Canyon Cruise, Glendora Canyon Cruise, Highland Valley Road Cruise? A Saturday or Sunday. Maybe June 1st or 2nd. I know some of these roads are burnt out to many local PDs and CHP on some of these. Unless we can do another local cruise in the IE?

DesertFrs 04-23-2013 01:26 PM

Another one we can do is Rim of the World Highway up to Big Bear Lake ;)

:thumbup:that would be a great run maybe we could find a place in the big bear area to have lunch then drive back. As for a date i know there a bunch of events coming up so we should look into them and make sure we are not over lapping

What about June 1st or June 2nd? Gives us a little over a month. Theirs a couple of places out their to eat. If everyone wants sandwiches theirs a place called amangelas, Theirs also a burger place called Trolls of Big Bear, and etc. The only thing that we would run into is parking depending how many people go.

JUNO 04-24-2013 01:17 PM

Throw me in Riverside

as for parking lets get the date set and then a head count to determine where we will go. as for the dates let me look t the track events. that will be about a week before the big vegas event also.

Ok let me know what you find out on the dates. I contacted a couple of restaurants/fast food locations and they say they have approximately 20-25 parking spaces for their business only. A couple of them offered to reserve those parking space for us. So we gotta see. I'm willing to go up their and take a look of the road along with photo areas too a week or two ahead of time :happyanim::coolpics:

Artie_z 04-26-2013 01:30 AM

I'm interested

JohnnyP 05-02-2013 01:14 AM

Big bear run sounds fun, but as my schedule lies right now I'll be at work both the 1rst and 2nd (that might change though). Anyone plan on going to the Rowland Heights meet tomorrow night?

PT-BRZ 05-02-2013 02:01 AM

put me down on the list. I'm from Rancho Cucamonga :)
