Eibach Benefit Track Day at Chuckwalla May 3rd
 

Eibach will be hosting a benefit track day with Chuckwalla Valley Raceway on May 3rd to help raise funds for my good friend and Eibach's R&D Manager, Phong Diep. Phong was in a terrible cycling accident over the Thanksgiving holiday and suffered severe head trauma and is still slowly recovering. Let's help Phong by having some fun on the track while donating to a good cause!

Phong was an OG 86 owner and a huge fan of the current generation. He even developed the Eibach products we're offering for the new FR-S/BRZs now.

If you would like to register for the event you can sign up by paypaling $125 to paypal@eibach.com with your name, contact info, car details and driving level. All net proceeds will go to Phong and his family. We do plan to raffle off Eibach and other products for people that preregister.

Tempting. I believe Extreme Track Speed is holding an event there on May 4-5 so it could be a nice 3 day track event for some people if you sign up for both.

I might fly out and borrow a car.. if I can find a car to borrow ;)

The only variable for me right now would be work due to the merger/acquisition going on right now... whens the deadline to sign up?

We'll stop preregistration on May 1st. Unless we have an abnormally large sign up we can get you in the day of if needed.

I will see if I can make it closer to the date, Friday are my normal days off

Do you know if Ryan is going to make it? Maybe I'll fly into SF and ride down with him if so.. going to start planning this on my side soon to at least find out if it's a possibility or not :)

He is planning on it. He will likely have a buddy of his driving with him so I'm not sure if I'll fly into LAX, or whatever the SF airport is ;)

I'll make sure you're accomodated if you fly into LA. Ontario Airport is actually closer to Eibach and where I'm at.

ONT is closer (and far less crowded). SNA (John Wayne in Irvine) and LGB (Long Beach) are also options. I hate LAX :p

Only three weeks away! Raceline USA will be there with their transponders for anyone interested in getting lap timing. Please bring $20 cash for transponder rental and Raceline will be donating 50% of transponder rentals to Phong's cause.

We have a handful of FR-S/BRZ folk going. Who else is down? We have plenty of room left for sign ups and everyone will get more than enough track time.

DC Sports will be donating some stuff for benefit, so I assume raffle. Hope to see more of you guys there.

Bummer! We do a lot of track days. Plan a trip once you get the job thing figured out.
