Anybody have ideas? Lets spit them out, lets get this pushed around!

I made some simple fliers to bring over to the dealership to try and attract the new owners.

Haven't messed with photoshop in a while but thought it'd be fun to make something during my lunch break. Let me know what you think of this first draft.

Not sure how I feel about the Pleiades...

haha I did a quick Google search cause I didn't know what D4S was...are you talking about the boxer engine?

Anyways, nice design! I think it should incorporate something that represents Hawaii. And I always hear Toyabaru...what about Subayota? haha :P

D-4S refers to the boxer engine developed by Toyota and Subaru. I figured it's the most common factor between the two cars. I also thought it was a nice touch on the engine to have the - in D-4S look like the spray from the direct injection system.

I also like the way Toyobaru sounds over Subayota :)
Second idea... def. a super rough draft, can you spot the 808 ;)

yeah.......i fucked up, although I am right, the D4S bulbs are whats used in the BRZ :P.

I remember seeing something about Scooby not wanting it.... must get on my phone to see picture...damn govt comps....

Hey, I don't live in HI, never have, but I casually strolled onto your subforum to check out the logos (I am a fan of interesting design work). I have to say, with the exception of the text, this is pretty cool and unique. Just needs a little cleaning up, but it's definitely workable!

Thanks you guys.. its hard to think of a logo/Name that wont leave out the Subaru or Scion owners I feel that even though they are all 86s Subaru owners would feel left out so I try to stay away from only using the "86" logo.. ill try to post more up however this one was probably my best idea... lol sorry about the font.. im doing this all from my windows paint program. and im limited to my fonts and I do agree that they suck lol but I need to work with what I got.. please feel free in taking my design and changing it. it was only a rough draft and I am photoshop inclined. lol

I like you guys. You all like to take logos in a different style and try new things. Subbed!

If you guys don't mind someone else putting down some ideas, I'd like to take a shot at some logos for you all! I designed some for our Socal club, but they have everything they need. To be fair though, I would be happy with any of these on my own car. Even though they are obviously for CA, I could design some up for HI if there's any interest!

I really like the pistons. Being a huge Subaru gear head from my first Wrx, i love the flat 4 motor. With that being said I see how the brz guys would kinda feel left out. My idea, which is lacking any pictures or graphics because I suck at anything to do with drawing, is that we have the two flat pistons with 808 in the middle between the pistons and then above the left and right pistons haver the text frs and brz and on the bottom under the whole thing have the text owners club.

Hey, I got home and read your post. It got me thinking of how the pistons and the number "808" are both symmetrical, and well...

I decided to kind of recreate @Fantum's86's logo on the first page as well. I beveled it a little to match the FRS/BRZ lettering and moved the pleiades to the top so it becomes a closed circle. Obviously I added the "86" logo, but not sure I care for that too much. Oh, and it's also a Scion logo. So, more "created in the spirit of" than a direct copy. But his logo is just too cool for nobody to be rocking it, so here it is:

Your logos are pretty interesting as well buddy! Although D-4S refers to the direct injection system specfically (developed by Toyota). The engine code is FA20 (or 4U-GSE, if you're going by Toyota's terms).
