Yokohama Neova AD08R w HKS D1 machine Time Attack in Tsukuba

Time was 59.80... now, that's fast for street tires!

Nice tire! Great video.

Personally I'm more impressed with the S2000.

I don't know the exact specs of the S2k but the fact that it did a time just slightly slower than a D1GP race car, its just that much more impressive.
In defense of the 86, it is still setup for drift so it isn't perfectly suited for circuit driving.

m.box.design 03-22-2013 03:59 PM

sounds so beastly.

SnapOv3st3r 03-24-2013 11:31 AM

Nice, wonder what tails are on the 86.

GTM_Challenge 03-25-2013 05:41 PM

dang, fastest ive ever done there was a 1:06 in the Spoon Honda Fit on Forza 4. :)

that_guy 03-25-2013 06:10 PM

That's fast. Another tire on my list now for next season after I cord the Dunlop Zii's.

LeeMaster 03-26-2013 12:01 PM

Fastest time I set on Tsukuba on a BRZ was 0:56 with only 360hp....for GT5 that is, lol.

Xdragonxb0i 03-26-2013 12:54 PM

This is comparable to Bridgestone commercial with deon sanders and troy aikman.

shobox206 03-26-2013 01:42 PM

My exact thoughts when watching the vid. That S2000 sounded sweeet!

The video made me smile as I own both types of cars.

If that S2000 didn't have any further power enhancements, then I am really impressed....hmmm might have to test drive one now..

Just because it's NA doesn't mean it's not worked over. Thats one of the best prepped s2000s in Japan, which is saying a lot.

Ah... try Arvou-spec 2.4 liter Toda engine, AP Racing BBK, Arvou-spec Ennepetal coilovers, etc, etc

I previously ran the Advan Neova AD08R in 235/45/17. Very good tire for street driving. Hard to break loose at stock power levels.
