a little nod to the supra no one has mentioned

the way the windows and door lock buttons on the door are angled toward you looks a lot like the door controls on the supra!

yes but the door handles are much easier to find in the frs compared to mk3 supras. I left a mk3 and got my BRZ.

Dont forget the wheels, they are round, just like the supra. Weird.

Turbowned 03-22-2013 02:47 PM

Wait, it has rear-wheel-drive, a 6 speed manual and 2 doors, just like the Supra!

Whoa...

Holy craps, it's a Toyota! JUST LIKE THE SUPRA WAS!

To make this thread somewhat relevant: I will say I miss the ease of access to my TC's old window controls. The handle on the FR-S seems to get in the way of the window switches.

zaptorque 03-22-2013 03:16 PM

CONFIRMED: BOTH THE SUPRA AND FRS HAVE A BRAKE PEDAL.....

IM STARTING TO GET A LITTLE FREAKED OUT YOU GUYS...

GT 86 Brah 03-22-2013 03:30 PM

do the math. toyota doesnt want you to know its the new supra.

BRZ(3) - FR-S(4) + GT86(4)=(5).. thats as much letters as a supra so it must be a supra.

3_NA_HAF 03-22-2013 03:32 PM

Im heading to the garage right now, taking the cover off and seeing if the FR-S also has a steering wheel. Im pretty sure it does, same as the supra, but I dont want to make an ass of myself.

ThinK OP is regreting this post yet?

Its official: we are driving a supra!

n2oinferno 03-22-2013 03:41 PM

Well, show's over guys... The Supra doesn't have a back seat. The FRS is actually a two door Camry. Therefore I'm driving a four-door FRS?

But the trunk opens so its a 3 door. So its like a hot hatch back. Therefore the FR-S must be FWD.

EVERYONE TOYOTA HAS BEEN LYING TO US, THIS CAR IS ACTUALLY FWD

dem00n 03-22-2013 04:22 PM

I'll take what hes smoking.

Turbowned 03-22-2013 05:34 PM

The MKIV Supra was introduced for the 1993 model year... 20 years later, the FR-S was introduced.

Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

mkivalex 03-22-2013 05:37 PM

Wait guys...If we are driving a supra, we must be driving the non-turbo supra..and that must mean that theres a turbo FRS (supra) coming guys!

we just had to put all the pieces of the puzzle together, way to go team!
