Build Journal for Koigataki (6MT Argento FR-S)
I've already done a couple of modifications, I guess I should back track and make a list.

First I suppose should be the day I unveiled my car at the dealership, it was the first one they sold, June 5th 2012.

This is where I start becoming out of order on my mod list.
http://seiboncarbon.com/store/produc...ubaru-brz.html Purchased and mounted TS-Style Carbon Fiber Hood. Not major fitment issues and all body lines matched up. The carbon hood weighs almost the same as the stock hood, allowing me to continue using my GReddy hood dampers. Attachment 31300 Attachment 31301 |

Swapped my side marker lights to JDM clear lens and rewired them to function as turn signals. Also had Falken RT-5 and Yokohama Advan S.4 installed.

Installed GReddy Momentum intake. I love the way it sounds when you give it a little ass on the gas.

I started this project looooong ago, but I haven't decided on exactly how I want to finish it. I removed the third brake light from the rear deck and modified the trunk garnish. It lights up at night but not as bright as I would like/need to be legal. Also I'm waiting on a few more pay checks so I can purchase a carbon fiber trunk with the built in "spoiler" lip. So until then it will remain as a half-assed job.

By far my most hated modification...Someone chipped the paint in the driver rear fender when they egged my car in the winter.

And now this brings us up to speed on the modifications that I can currently think about.
Currently I'm working on a custom subwoofer box for an Alpine 10" Type-R that will be placed in the driver rear seat well. I tried to place the huge amp I have behind the driver seat but it wasn't enough room so I placed it behind the passenger. Getting in and out feels a little cramped but once you are inside you have plenty of room (opinion of a 6' +200lb male). In the photo I only have the area masked out with tape and aluminum foil. After talking to Moshpit I decided to try to refabric the rear deck. This is only a temp install with tape holding the fabric in place.

Glad to see you're getting more active on these forums man. Best place for info regarding our cars, period.

Okay figured out that problem. Just had to reinstall the app.
So I finished the rear deck the other day and took pictures this morning. Now for the people that want to point out only one "baby seat anchor" was saved, that is because my driver rear is "soon to be" a subwoofer. I already removed the seatbelt and lower "baby seat anchor". Attachment 31395 Attachment 31396 |
I just finished updating my spread sheet that lists all the costs for my modifications, so far I've spent $6,143.

Dropped her off at Twisted Tints in Little Rock, AR @ 9:30am. Paid for and gone by 11:30am. Had 25% sides and rear tint applied. Also had the front bumper wrapped.

Swapped rear turn signal bulbs for 7443 chromed. One thing to note is the fit isn't perfect due to the dual filament bulb in single filament socket, there is a tab you need to shave off.

Looks good man, not diggin the wheels, but looks good. Definately like the hatch scion led, that is unique, and defines the whole idea of being a scion owner. Check out my build sometime, in my sig.

Got bored so I started painting my calipers. Unfortunately the weather got bad before paint cured, had to reinstall them wet and now they are covered in grease and fingerprints. I guess I'll have to redo them when the weather permits. |

Took it to the auto cross track today in Amarillo, I'll post vids once I edit them.

I love the way the rear deck turned out, I'd like more info on how you did it if you don't mind sharing. I sent you a PM in case you don't see this for a while.. :)
