Interest in carbon fiber items?

Hi everyone,

A good friend of mine owns and operates G3 Composites, a carbon fiber company based in South FL. We've done many cars from R8s to Lamborghini to my Corvette (that I sold earlier this year)etc.

We'd love to do some items for the FR-S and BR-Z as well. :party0030:

You can see a lot of our work here:

Thanks,
Tom

As long as it is real carbon fiber replacements and not overlay parts, absolutely.

Yes, we use real carbon.

The silver/fake carbon dash pieces would be nice. Especially if you guys made it one piece. Shifter trim would be cool too.

+1 for a single piece for the dash and head unit trim.

Are you talking about the large pieces that goes around the radio?

Turbowned 03-20-2013 11:44 AM

Yes. The stereo surround/dash trim would be very welcome! So far everyone just overlays the stock piece, which is fine cosmetically but kind of defeats the purpose of carbon fiber.

I'd also like to see carbon fiber door sill plates!

This overlay looks good but I don't know who makes it or if it's real CF:

We can definitely do the shifter trim, dash trim & other interior pieces.

Are you looking to have a carbon version of the stock door sills w/the holes or something else?

Anyone that wants to have some carbon work done please email me at tom@g3carbon.com and I'll get you taken care of. :) We are ready to take on your business.

How much will it cost to get the door handles in carbon and also the passenger panel and radio trim as one piece? Will you ship to Canada also? Postal code is l4j

There is a lot of 86 carbon fiber parts in the market....
Not sure if it is worth it to join the market when there is a lot other carbon fiber company are doing it.

Do you have a photo (front & back) of the dash pieces off the car?

Competition is a good thing for the consumer. ;)

There have been lots of carbon companies out there for quite some time. We will gladly put our work up against anyone else. We are not only a business, but also enthusiasts ourselves. We don't produce anything we would not put on our own cars. :burnrubber:

dabocx 03-20-2013 03:48 PM

Could you make the dash piece around the headunit a different size? Ive seen once people go with aftermarket headunits they have a gap or have to use spacers. A aftermarket dash piece that sits flush with aftermarket dual dins would be awesome.

That is something we should be able to do provided you provide us with the dimensions you need.

I think Competition is good for us the customer, is just like right Now allllll the body kits for the 86 in carbon fiber are backorder. So Another Carbonfiber company is just what we need. Competition is good for US!

FYI don't post your full postal code on the internet. By posting the full postal code you're given out your EXACT address. If you want the seller to give you an estimate on shipping, just give out the first 3 characters ;) you don't want people to know that there's a pretty little BRZ sitting there with all the new parts that you just bought.

eundaddy 03-20-2013 05:03 PM

please carbon fiber the side gills.

Might wanna look into becoming a vendor pretty quick smart then ;)

from what i've seen the admin on here seems to run around with a ban hammer for anyone even remotely giving an indication of selling things when they arent a vendor.

Been several others midway through deals with people just drop off the face of the boards.

More than happy to become a vendor if it makes financial sense. We don't have any FR-S clients yet so hopefully that changes soon. We are ready & able to do the work. We just need the clients.

If I am banned I can't become a vendor so that wouldn't make sense for them to do, but it is their forum.

We're here to stay if the business is here. Any local South FL people can also stop by the shop.

lbroskee 03-20-2013 07:33 PM

i'd b down as long as :

1. it's not a piece that just glues onto stock
2. it's not molded onto stock
3. it's true CF all the way through (except maybe clips if it'd b too weak)

We do both wraps & molds. Which one it ends up being always depends on the actual piece we're doing & client's wants/needs/budget. Feel free to shoot me an email with what parts you're looking for @ Tom@G3Carbon.com

Wow~ calm down now! We just lock these threads & these members decide to become vendor or not. Simple as that.

If you want to become a vendor here, I would recommend PM our admin: Hachiroku. He take care all vendor stuff. As for now, I have to close those thread, due to more towards advertising/vending.

Welcome to the forum.
