Guess this one is blossoming into a fairly well-attended thing (about 2-3 of us been doing this every weekend), so this one gets a new thread. :D

Official rendezvous time is at 7AM. We usually chit chat for a little, let people drink their coffee. Let's try to roll out and begin the drive at 7:30AM. That means if you're running late, text or post to let us know you're gonna be late. Or meet us at the next spot.

We will probably arrive at Sunol station around 8:00AM-8:15AM. Hang out there for a bit, let people fill up their tanks with the sweet nectar of the combustion gods. Latecomers can meet up with us there. Let's say chill there until 8:45AM. Then roll up to Livermore. Not sure where we should stop there, I'm not too familiar with the rest of the route. So if anyone wants to pick another regroup spot before the drive to Tesla and/or Patterson, chime in. Depending on the time then, I might split off at that point if I have to go to work, or I might still be up for a further drive with you guys.

I'm not the leader! No one's the leader! We're all a bunch of guys/gals who happen to drive the same car and happen to be going to the same place haha.

Assume I can get up early, I will be there for sure. I do have a class in Milpitas at 8:30, So I can only do the first leg then rush to milpitas.

As a side note to anyone in the east bay, BigFatFlip, Kamakanani0, and myself will be meeting at the Starbucks on Webster & Atlantic in Alameda @ 6:30am to head down to CV. Others more than welcome to join.

Here's my suggestion for the rest of the route. From Sunol, we could hop back onto 84 (Vallecitos Rd.) into Livermore. If you guys want a stop, we can at Robertson Softball park (corner of Concannon & S. Livermore). Those who are done can just take S. Livermore back to the freeway, those who have time can continue on to Tesla Rd. (which turns into Coral Hollow) towards Tracy. Folks who want to loop back can take 580 north and hop off Patterson pass, which will spit you back out into Livermore.

This sounds fun. What type of roads will we be driving on? I've never been to the places mentioned above...

Daayyuumm.. Missing a lot of local meets. Preppin my car for Sunday's Track Event. But have fun guys!!! Really wanted to see @vubaru AVO Turbo! Went to Works the other day and talked with the guys there about your turbo man! Anyway enjoy the ride y'all :burnrubber:

I've never been to Palomares, but from what I can tell from Pmok's video, looks like some nice moderate twisties on a 2-lane road. Tesla and Patterson pass are more long flowing roads, still 2-lane, but really nice views of the Altamont hills :thumbsup: Finch and I might take either one back since we're heading back to the valley.

Yeah I've never done Tesla or Patterson Pass, so hopefully I will have time to stick with you guys till then... been wanting to see them. Let's talk tomorrow about where there might be nice spots to pull off and take a group photo if we can.

I'll try to make it out! I get off work pretty late tonight so hopefully I'll be able to wake up in the morning lol.

Bummer, despite meeting up a few times I think we have yet to go for a cruise together!

So looking for that, my WRB bro. I did my morning drive solo on Sunday 7am on HWY 9 and PageMill road, for Sat....usually go to work.

Bummer, maybe next time, we usually do sundays, keep an eye out on the drive char thread.

Really fun drive today! Some got separated towards the end of the drive though )= overall great experience and hope to go to more in the future!

So the 2 asphalts decided to go off our own ways to Mt. Hamilton. Cus we were too cool for u guys! Lol jk! We got lost!! And ended up going up there. Took 2 and half hour to finish lol. Was fun tho. Fog cleared up and was sunny

p.s. did anyone get pics of the peacocks on Palomares? last time it was turkeys, this time peacocks... it's a zoo out there! :lol:

Yeahh it was so fun esp with 94octane kicking in. Lol saw a group of 12 miatas too on our way down.

It was a good drive guys, even though I missed out on the morning leg. Saw some familiar faces and met new people. It was unfortunate the fog caused a change of plans, but there will always be next time. For the next drive, I'll be sure to make it from the starting point!
