That looks like alot more bends than ive seen out of all the headers so far. This is UEL correct? /Newb

Good catch!! :party0030:

L3P47 03-14-2013 07:57 PM

Hopefully, this sounds more promising than the Borla UEL Header.

Mtlrick 03-14-2013 08:12 PM

Depending on the price and dynos , I'll choose between the GReddy and Borla

Pretty typical, they still have yet to release the RS exhaust which they announced September last year....

Looks pretty close to Equal Length.

Does Japan require O2 sensors in their stock headers? If not and this header is just a port over of the JDM Trust header, it might not have O2 sensor bungs and would be marketed for off-road use only. Won't be 50 states legal anyway.

OrbitalEllipses 03-14-2013 11:26 PM

That prototype looks like it has a removable cat; need an O2 if you got a cat. Either way you want a extra O2 bung for wideband...

switchlanez 03-15-2013 01:37 AM

Looks like a direct port over of the JDM TRUST header where they also have a catalyzed option. Seems like neither have a pair of O2 bungs. They'd normally protrude from the right side of the cat body from this angle:

After just receiving my Nameless 3" Axleback, I can definitely say I'm sticking with Nameless on their header. The quality is unmatched and the performance is there.

What does the 3" axelback sound like? can you post up a video as a seperate thread? Any new news on the header that makes the torques :)?

I can do an idle/rev of my 3" unless I can convince my g/f to video the drivebys with it.

Mine is the 2.5" which is the only one they sell on their website. You have to special order the 3". I'm assuming we are referring to the pipe and not the muffler size or tip size.

Edit: I see they updated their site finally so looks like they are selling the 3" now. I'll ask nameless to make sure 2.5 inlet with 5" diameter offset with 8" long muffler is what I have.

zex 03-15-2013 03:05 PM

silencer and catted version?
Interested..

Go for a little drive to? :)

Flat Black VW 03-15-2013 03:33 PM

looks closer to EL than UEL to me....

It may be UEL but by a very slight margin, not nearly as much as the borla.
