xDBOYx 03-13-2013 09:12 PM

Car is not finished yet... Would look amazing on the newer Sonata. Would recommend 20's on the Sonata though.

5x100 -> 5x114 Conversion spacers.
Vossen is currently developing these wheels in 5x100.

Toxic78 03-14-2013 07:28 PM

I don't suppose in their developing the 5x100 they'd consider making them in 18s?

Yes I have the 2012 sonata in white and been looking for rims to fit on them. 20s is what I have planned but would like to find these in replicas cause the wife also drive the sonata lol. But brz she is off limits.

Wife's car below.... no replica wheels, cars, shoes, watches etc...I understand well:happy0180: I just think in the long run replicas end up costing more due to a lack of quality. But its your money, good luck. :)

I remember you from Club Lexus. Wasn't your old GSh on that TV show where everyone drives each other's car and then they pick a winner?

That it is! You're GS F-Sport looks great with those Vossens. I'm getting rid of my SC430 for the FR-S. And I thought you should've won. The other cars were GAY.

Hehe on my cars I dont skimp out on anything. Authetic and real everything. Watches shoes glasses but with the wife im not willing to take that risk. She is not a car freak and knows nothing about them. Ive seen her blow thru man holes with the stock 18s on the car. Im not willing to risk that with 20s on the sonata. I rather spend that money else where on my brz lol.

Vossen replicas?

Can anyone tell me what wheels look like the Vossen CV3s? I have been searching for weeks! I've been trolling this forum for a while, and signed up today as a member just for this question lol.

Here is what I have found...
-Traklite K - 18" but could look cheapo
-Bavaria BC5 - only 20"
-Stance SC5 - Ugly lips
-TSW Rivage - Only sell in 19x8, cant get a staggered set in 5x100
-Forgestar CF5 - They're ok I guess, but pricey for what they are.

I'm looking for a 5 spoke design like the cv3, where the spoke comes all the way out to the edge. I would just buy the Vossen wheels, but they don't make them in 5x100. Ever since I saw this car, I've been in love! The 5 spoke design fits the car so well.

18" or 19" sizes are fine as long as the sets come staggered. I've seriously looked over the internet for weeks! But maybe someone out there knows this style. Money isn't really my biggest concern, just takes a little longer to save up for.

boredom.is.me 05-10-2013 02:57 AM

But these aren't expensive at all compared to a lot of wheels. Aren't these in the neighborhood for $230? That's really not that bad.

Oh..I take that back.

miodculae 05-10-2013 06:46 AM

Enkei Kojin are close ? They're 18 and staggered. Five spoke design. Spokes are long and thin and almost reach the lip.

the_butcher 05-10-2013 02:18 PM

The kojin seem too thin, and when they're staggered they have a sharp bend for the concave. Same thing with the tsw Tanaka. Leaning toward the tracklites. I just hope they aren't xxr quality with their finish. Had xxr 527s on my tc and had to get them refinished because they looked so cheap.

OjiGeorge 05-10-2013 03:18 PM

In 18 those Traklites weigh aprox 25lbs rear and 22lbs front.

executivekoala 05-10-2013 03:28 PM

xxr is making something like this now too

Yes I believe they are the 535's. Contact @JoeBoxer and he can verify

n2oinferno 05-10-2013 03:53 PM

The XXR spokes taper towards the outer rim of the wheel. I don't think anyone makes a perfect replica. These are in the same style too, but obviously not the exact same.
SC-5ive

http://www.stancewheels.com/content/wheels/52/main.jpg

the_butcher 05-10-2013 04:31 PM

I know that if I buy xxr I'm going to have to get them refinished. The stance wheels have an annoying drop off at the edge of the spoke to make them look more concave. The stance sc6 has the perfect design, but 6 spokes! I wish they would have made the 5 spokes the same way.

the_butcher 05-10-2013 04:33 PM

And yea the tracklites are heavy, but I was considering 19s anyway. So at this point its form over function. I've got some old racing hart 17s I can throw on if I do track days.

the_butcher 05-11-2013 02:24 PM

Aren't they sticking way outside the body with 32 offset and 10mm spacers?

dori. 05-11-2013 02:56 PM

if money isn't your biggest concern like you say, then why not save up and get the vossens

They don't make them in 5x100. I could get adapters, but it would put the offset into the 20s.

YDNA 05-11-2013 07:19 PM

email them to make you a set, why settle for the low quality replicas?

ilpad 05-11-2013 08:00 PM

The Five Axis, Five:AD R5:F is similar and fairly inexpensive.

I wonder how much they would charge for something custom? I wouldn't mind spending another 300 or so for the perfect fit.

The 5ad rims are nice, but no concave, and I hear they are stupid heavy like 28lbs

OICU812 05-12-2013 06:22 PM

Butcher take a look at Deviant wheels in USA they make a DV5 and variants that are near same and any finish etc you want and any offset and bolt pattern, just be prepared to pay is all. :)
