Thought I'd get a colour poll going, however, please only vote if you currently reside in Australia!

86 Colours:

If 86 it will be white. If BRZ it will be WRB. Which one depends on price and spec!

In that order as I have to see the cars in the flesh.

A friend of mine has a standard 2010 red metallic lancer VRX witch looks great in some light conditions and bloody awful in others.

Love the look of the Dark Grey Metallic 86 (and BRZ).

If 86 the choice
1st choice: Pure white. 2nd: Wildfire orange. 3rd: Black.

If BRZ the choice
1st choice: Pure white. 2nd: WR Blue. 3rd: Gunmetal grey.

Have ordered silver (light)

There are a million pics of all the colours except one, of which there is only one lonely pic: dark grey, which happens to be the one i am digging on the most atm.

Too true. Seems to be one of the more popular colours, if the poll is anything to go by? Maybe we all like mystery, haha.

I know that, but there's less pictures of the dark grey than all the other colours... except for maybe the red, there's not too many of that?

I agree. And I would like to see more of the dark grey before I'm happy locking in white.

Hey guys,

I placed an order for a White 86 GTS. However I am having second thoughts and thinking the grey maybe the better colour, as I think it shows the lines of the car off alot better then the white.

What do people think?

White with the darkest tint possible for me :)

It was a toss up between white and black for me, but after owning a black car for so many years, its time to change it up

Ive decided ill stick with White, If Toyota decide to charge $1000 extra for the pearlesant paint however, I maybe tempted to switch to Grey.

It would be interesting if the poll covered color, model and transmission. Which would be the most popular of the 28 options.

I'm no statistician but I think White - GTS - Manual be the winner.

Not surprised by the love for white but a bit surprised by the love for red and orange - and yet not much for Blue? :iono:

I think Reds will sell more in due time because that's what they will be using for their marketing campaign across the country.

Though i also shocked no one so far got a black one.

I would have considered the world rally blue from the BRZ but not a huge fan of blue from Toyota lol

Red 86 GTS 6M with dark tint, dark gunmetal Advan RS's, and Q)GT86 signature plates.

I have seen (and sat in) a orange GT, red GTS and a white GTS.

Orange - I'm a little iffy about the orange, I thought that it would look better in person. I think it will age quickly.

Red - Photos don't do it justice, looks great in person!

White - As for the white, it looks fantastic in person... One of if not the best colour for the 86. It got me having second thoughts about the dark grey I ordered.

My dark grey GTS arrives into the country on the 20th of June. If I change now I'll be wating for ages... WHAT DO I DO?

Just wait for the one you want. Spending that much money to regret the color you get is not worth it.

Or

Buy the grey gts, if you change your mind, sell it for a profit and place an order on white. Sure you could sell the 86 in the 1st few months for a profit, especially if its SOLD OUT. :bonk:

Yeah, I don't think I'll change the colour now. I do like the dark grey anyway, it was my first option... It just that I have seen the white in person and it looks great. I'm just hoping the dark grey looks just as good in person. But I'll find that out when I get my car :)

Worst case scenario I'll do your second option :thumbup:
