I was told by an old man that my BRZ looked like a Fiat.

I had a Maserati confuse me with his Maserati while I was FRSing in my FRS.

I've gotten Porsche numerous times.

i was filling up gas once and a lady thought it was a Maserati, She said it looked a lot like her friends lol. Also someone thought it was a Ferrari once lol.

I had this redneck guy come over to me in the Vons parking lot a while back and say, "Hey man, is that a Scion or a Porch, looks like a Porch to me!" (Misspelling to emphasize accent). I just said, "Well, it says Scion on the trunk!" ;)

Apparently you haven't met me.

I get a lot of "what car is that" and "nice car". Just today I was headed to Home Depot to get some buckets to wash my baby, park next to a nice old lady in whatever that Mercury re-branded Ford Five-Hundred was. "That's a very nice car", she said. Needless to say, I love my FR-S.

I've taken the FRS badge off, so I've gotten the "Is this the new tC?" or, "What kinda car is that!"

I've had someone tell me my car looks like it has exotic DNA though, that's about it.

Really? and insult? the DeLorean is one the coolest cars ever made if anything I would call the person an idiot for calling the frs a DeLorean but never an insult

some people say like "its the new celica? wow" or like "what porsche is it?" or even a "what the hell is that? a ferrari?" ...

My favorite story: I pull into my local gas station. Get my car pumping and step well away from the car and pump. So I am now on the side of the building out of view.

This guy comes outta no where from my view. "Oh my God!! What the **** is this? Oh my God!! Who's car is this? Oh my God!!"

He then spots me as I'm chuckling at his yelling in the middle of a gas station. I mean full throttle yelling.

"Is this your car?" Still yelling mind you. "Yep, it's mine. It's a BRZ." I then go into the status quo explanation of the twins.

He asks me to do a six-po on it. "Not gonna happen now guy. I've just gotten off and selling my car is the last thing I wanna do right now."

He says "That's cool. Thanks for the explanation and information."

He was some kinda temp sales guy working at the dealer across the street.

people ask what it is and i just tell them its the new Scion FRS..and then they say "Scion ? whats that?" ..then that say they love the color..

I've had someone say it looked like a Ferrari California from a distance....

I've gotten the LFA question before from a random gas station attendant. Also Lamborghini from a female friend.

Not everyone knows about cars, but apparently people recognize a low, sleek shape.

Despite what the Toyota marketing team wants you to believe the FR-S has way more in common with the first few generations of the Celica than it does with a 80's Corolla :slap:
