I am abit ticked off at all the flame comments aimed at our car... its not ment for drag racing but then people love to bring out the numbers ahhh anyways dont know where else to show this or vent out Lmao... :mad0260::mad0260::mad0260: The car itself is beautiful and drive is amazing and fun... people come to conclusions so quickly just cause it lacks power doesnt mean it loses the fun...

Shocking news.. drag racers are bashing a car that is not meant for drag racing.

That's like skaters bashing inlines.. or surfers bashing bodyboards.. or bmxers bashing mountain bikes.. metalheads bashing justin bieber. lol.

Just link them this. I'd say an 11.3 isn't too bad for an initial turbo kit for this car. Already have vendors going for more than 400 whp with twin scroll kits soon.

For the same reasons many BRZ/FRS owners bash other car models. Many examples of that on this forum when other cars are brought up.

Everyone simply has different tastes. I consider myself a true automotive enthusiast, and I generally like anything that has 4 wheels and an engine. However, there are plenty of styles that I am simply not a fan of: cars that are slammed, hellaflush, or jacked to the moon with 40"+ tires.

Most those guys just jelly.

because opinions are like @$$holes, everyones got one and they all generally stink.

I get more questions and nice car comments vs. hate but my husband takes the brz out and gets negative bs like "nice tc".

don't sweat the hate just smile and know that the car is awesome, you're awesome, and most of the other 86ers are awesome too.

LOL it's youtube comments. They're all 12 year olds. They'll blindly argue about anything. Their opinions don't matter.

Most youtube comments are made by benchracing keyboard warriors. I've seen kids calling out a guy with a 900hp evo.

Well our cars look fast but are slow on the drag strip. Everyone respects and sti and evo bc 300hp stock.

looking fast = good exterior design, and it's meant to be a sport car so there's nothing wrong with that design
what's even more outrageous is that I hear the same crowd of civic fanboys talk trash about sti and evo lol

It's silly. Everyone cites "not enough power" but I've been driving sports cars like this for years. SW20 MR2 Turbo, FC3S RX-7 Turbo, E30 BMW, Datsun 240Z. No one whines that those cars don't have enough power. They're just plain respected. Some day this car will be the same way.

I guarantee you that if all the people who talk smack had to put their money where their mouth is, they'd be writin' a check their ass can't cash!
