Where would you guys like to have meets and how often?

Wild Wing Cafe in Brier Creek was mentioned. Thursdays @ 8pm was also discussed. What does everyone think? Would you like to see a weekly meet? Every other week? When thinking of ideas be conscious of parking. Ideally, if we chose Wild Wing Cafe, we could meet in the Best Buy parking lot and then drive over afterwards since parking can be cramped in that area.

Let's hear some ideas!

If you meet on a weekend there is a 25% chance I'd be able to attend since I'm in Raleigh about once a month. :D

Thursdays are no good for me. I can do Monday, Wednesday or Fridays. With the occasional Tuesday.

I would be up for bi-weekly meets. BWW sounds like a good choice.

If you want more beer and less food we could meet up at the Big Boss Brewery on occasions.

That place is a blast

VIR also has fantastic carts and is outdoor. I believe it's $25 for 15minute session. But groups rates are probably better.

Hey fellas, I'll catch some of y'all tomorrow @ C&C - Waverly Place and hope to see some new faces and fresh cars! I'll brave the cold elements, please no rain(!), and will likely show up around 8am. I need a break from my work alarm in the mornings! Especially after this morning... I somehow fell asleep on my chest/stomach with both arms tucked underneath my head pillow which I found out the hard way is perfect physical and psychological torture when the alarm wakes you at 6AM! Cant move... try hitting that disarm alarm button less than 3 feet away with dead arms due to lack of blood circulation... I promise it is absolute torture! Haha!

Again, I should be there around 8AM so hopefully the parking will be easy to group up. As for meets outside of once a month I've no idea what my preference is, but I cannot meet Wednesday evenings. Anywhere works within reason to the Raleigh area.

Hey guys I wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I traded in my S2000 for a BRZ Limited at Johnson Subaru in Cary one month ago and want to start getting involved with the "local club" of owners.

I loved my S2000 but I wanted a coupe, and a BRZ was basically the closest thing!

Hmm, another former S2K owner going to a SWP LE BRZ! I'm thinking we must be related somehow?! And also from Johnson Subaru of Cary as well! I know those guys go above and beyond their service to customers :) (yeah, my honest plug as they deserve it!)

So! We may make a larger dent in those C&C meets @ Waverly Place with SWP colors... that'll be nice! Well, it'll be good to catch up sometime in the near future!

*If you were at the last C&C and we met then I apologize as my memory skips off the beaten path quite a bit

I'm willing to bet I've spoken with almost a half of a dozen former S2000 people on this forum who switched factions to Subaru! Nice job sniping the upper echelon sports car enthusiasts Subaru (eh, and Toyota)!

It's good to see some of that faction locally showing up! I just emphasized that particular convert a little more due to his choice of trim and color which matches mine exactly!

I couldn't make C&C last weekend, was busy with something else. I hope to attend the next one though!

So, the plan to meet tomorrow night is dead? I was planning on catch that dinner in Brier Creek, but I'll hope to attend the next if not tomorrow (again, Wednesdays are no good for me, but I'm fairly flexible any other day) Hope the day is faring well for all!

I'm still good for tomorrow. Just wont be in the BRZ. Only seen one person, now 2, say they're going so wasn't sure if people wanted to change it. Either way we can plan for future events tomorrow night. See you there.

I'll plan on heading out there as it'll be good to start hammering some plans out. Still shooting for the same place, BestBuy, and time, 8PM? Quick confirmation as I have a bad habit of assuming things that have been changed.

So, does anyone here drive a black BRZ I didn't look down to check the wheels unfortunately? I passed one after work around 5:15-20 as they were turning left off of Lead Mine Rd (I don't happen to recall the crossroad). One of those random sightings! Anyway, whatever restaurant is chosen I'm game to go with the plans. Free Carolina Hurricanes tickets is most definitely a prize to enjoy!

Hi from Raleigh!

Name is Brett and I am with the Honda S2000 group. I have met several of you at Cars and Coffee. My buddy Heath (sn: Nothing) just picked up a '13 turbo FRS yesterday and looking forward to seeing him participate in the events/track days.

I've met Drew and a few of his buds along the way, but am wondering what things you guys do on a regular basis (Dragon events, back of the dragon, other drives, track events, autox's, etc etc)?

I participate in SCCA/THSCC autocrosses as well as their HPDEs. You can like our FB page "FT86 Club of the Carolinas". I post up all autox/track days up there. Other members do as well.

Ah, I see now you did find this thread! Well now, you cover all of the web-forum bases good!

I'm slowly becoming an active online member, so, we'll see if I manage to keep up with this blitz you're rolling out with! Haha!

I do have an aversion of posting names though. I'm paranoid of what goes on the internet is there FOREVER. Maybe in time I'll get used to it... we'll see though!

It's good to add another element of familiarity though! Well, I'll see what other mischief I can find unraveling from the S2000 brothers here!

Oh, weird... I forgot I have a homeowners meeting that night at 7pm on the 26th. Well, I'll have to miss that evening meet as well it seems! Tuesdays definitely don't like to work with me much!

I may be late anyways due to work. We shall see!

No list compiled as of yet on who's planning on going this evening, but I do expect it is a go! My guess is somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-5 people showing up. There is not a set standard on claiming a spot so it's show up if you can, lax like!
