I have them. No pics but I really like how they look and drive.

n2oinferno 09-24-2013 04:52 PM

I like how the wheels look. Been waiting to see what they look like on the twins.. Thinking they might need a spacer though.

ericmpena 09-24-2013 05:51 PM

Can't wait to see some pics! These wheels look great. If the pics do them justice I'll probably be purchasing very soon.

MightyMeeple 09-25-2013 11:29 PM

Anyone know the weight on these in the 17 inch?

Clipdat 09-25-2013 11:31 PM

Enkei M52 17x7.5 comes in at 20.35lbs according to Tire Rack

Any update on pics? I'm waiting to place my order until I can see some more of your pics!

n2oinferno 10-02-2013 04:27 PM

Can you get a front/rear shot? I'd like to see how far these are sunken into the wells, and if they'd need a spacer.

Jordan Mo 10-02-2013 06:01 PM

I prefer these

Those are nice as well. I actually prefer the thicker looking spokes on the M52. Also, $1440 for PF01 vs $720 for the M52....I'd go with the M52 since the design is similar.

IMO the perfect looking wheel is BC Forge's HB05. I want as close to that look as I can get. I wouldn't go spending $4,000+ for those wheels though.

ericmpena 10-02-2013 08:37 PM

I found some more pics of Black Enkei M52 if anyone was interested. Not on a car, but the seller posted some closeups.

Just go with Work Emotion CR Kais

ericmpena 10-04-2013 04:51 PM

Those are $400+ a wheel. They look great, but I can't spend $1,600 on wheels w/o tires.

Thank you so much! I've probably googled just about every picture of these wheels in both hyper black and black. I still can't decide on which to go with. The more pictures the better! It'll help me out so much.

What do you think of them so far? I've seen that they poke out a little. Is it very noticable?

Also, how is the black finish? Does it look closer to matte, satin, satin/gloss, painted, gloss?

Any idea on how the M52 Hyper black look in person? To me the hyper black M52's look very silvery compared to other brands' Hyper Black. I can't tell if it's just the pictures online are all in direct sunlight or if they really are that bright.

ericmpena 10-06-2013 05:09 PM

Also, I'd love to see a side shot from a distance during the day. I'm curious if the spoke spead lets you see through the wheel or if it gives it just an all black look.

Wolfking 10-06-2013 09:07 PM

I'm strongly considering the M52's because they are a nice change from the RAJIN's that seem to be on every other FRS. I also want hyper black wheels for my Asphalt. I feel gunmetal and black are too dark...I'm not Batman!

ericmpena 10-06-2013 09:46 PM

Hyper black on the M52 is actually a little darker than most pictures show. Maybe this will help you. Check out these Videos:

I completely agree with you. I don't want a wheel that every other person already has. I'm torn between Hyper Silver RSF5's or Hyper Black M52's.

I love the design of the RSF5, but I'm afraid the hyper silver isn't going to give me the look I'm going for with my SWP BRZ.

The black M52's were my first choice, but after more research I've realized I prefer the Hyper Black for a SWP BRZ. The M52 has a great design, but now I wish I hadn't have seen the RSF5's so I wouldn't be torn between the two!

The other thing that pushes me away from the RSF5's is that they seem to give the same appearance as the stock wheels from a distance. If the stock wheels didn't have those black spokes, it would pretty much be a split 5 spoke design like the RSF5.

But...damn the RSF5 looks so clean. Reminds me a lot of a Ferrari F430 wheel. Just simple, clean, and classy. First world problems indeed...

Looking at the video's and then an Asphalt color, I think it'll be a great look! You should go for it and post tons of pics afterwards!

Anyone have these wheels in Hyper Black? I'm curious how the Hyper Black looks with SWP

subwaynm 11-16-2013 07:43 PM

I think the Gunmetal Grey looks nice but I want a style that not everybody has to go along with the color. That appears to be hard to find

OICU812 11-16-2013 08:16 PM

The unfourtenate part of Enkei wheels is lack of good offsets with their sizes on so many of their wheels. The RS5 I like similar to Advan T5 but garbage sizes and offsets.

The Niche Targa (cast) is a close copy, but not as thin. The forged Niche Targas are beautiful.
