Unsustainable's Raven FR-S
 

So I picked up my FR-S in November last year and since then I've been having a blast :burnrubber:. I found this forum in January and since then I have probably jumped on it at least twice a day every day. So many helpful, knowledgeable, and awesome fellow owners. Hopefully i can make it to one of the meets in Irvine one day to actually see another FR-S or BRZ. I've only ever seen 1 other FR-S on the road around here.

I thought I would share some pictures of my FR-S. It's still completely stock at the moment since i've been busy with school and stuff, but i've ordered a few parts that i'll list below as well as a long wishlist for the future. I'll update my thread as I get my stuff and install it.

Thanks! :thumbup: I have been. I think it's time for a few changes tho. I'm currently waiting for my perrin exhaust to be delivered today actually. I'm so impatient, i keep checking the UPS tracking website

Perrin Catback exhaust installed! I was tempted to just pay a shop for the install since they didn't charge much, but I ended up doing it with a friend in an afternoon. Damn those hangers are annoying, but besides that, it was pretty simple. I highly recommend you do it yourself if you're curious about how your car works.

In the end, GREAT SUCCESS (hopefully no leaks)! It sounds and looks awesome! I'll have a video up later because I know i was looking everywhere for them when I was trying to get an exhaust.

The bars look awesome in my opinion. I like the blue color it throws in the engine bay and the trunk. As for feel when driving, i feel way less lateral Gs when turning sharply. Although I couldn't do much testing during heavy traffic times at the moment. Could be part the bars, part placebo but i'm happy and it looks sweet with the polished look. I feel like it does what its suppose to.

Installation was pretty easy once you see where you're suppose to press the clip in to pop out the original marker.

I like it much better than the orange marker. It isn't flush like the orange one but that's not a big issue for me.

Where'd you get the side markers, those look even better than the JDM ones!

Did you get a new light stalk that has fog support?

Nope, I didn't want to take my steering wheel apart. Although it doesn't seem that hard.

I tapped into the passenger-side side marker. I'm probably leaving it like that unless I get pulled over lol. If I do I'll add the switch that came with the harness

Installation was pretty easy except when removing the sound generator tube. It's suppose to be capped off near the battery but removing the hose from there was so frustrating that I pulled it off so hard it, the sound tube that goes through the firewall came off. Not a problem though, just put it back in place and was good to go.

Your car looks amazing! It is nice to see a semi stock car with a few nice mods to keep the spirit of the car alive. Too many people really destroy this car with hundreds of mods. I like the smoked side markers. I also have a raven but cant decide on the smoked or the clear. How did you make your decision

I got them a while ago when there weren't many options except the jdm ones which were pretty expensive. I saw these on ebay for much less so i decided to try them out. I liked how they looked so I kept them. The subtlety was nice. I liked them way better than the orange ones that completely stuck out.

I would have bought the clear ones to though since looking at the car from the corner, it would match the headlights.
