Springs being ordered next week

Nice looking car!
Mods list is pretty sweet as well. You've done your research. Dream world, I'd go Volks over Rotas, (wouldn't everyone!) but hey can understand as the te37's are probably 4 times the price! |
Look's Great!

best color!

took first this past weekend in STX class doing good this season :) more to come ! |
So recently i ordered wheels tires and coilovers.
I bought 17x8 +35 Rota Grid racing in gold. with blue lugs hub centric rings and Dunlop Direzza ZII tires 225/45/17 after i put those on the handling was just insane. shortly after i got coils bought BC Racing Br coilovers. ride height adjusted evenly and got it aligned. im very happy with the handling and the ride quality. the only thing that sort of sucks is that the rear camber is un adjustable until i get control arms. so im sitting at -3.4 in the rear and adjusted the front camber to -1.1 sunday im auto crossing once again at the fairfield county sports car club event. to test how much more traction and handling improvements i get from this set up next will be a full corner balance https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...69552484_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.n...43126819_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...65604185_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...13272428_n.jpg |
So I raced in the Wicked Big MEET 2013 auto cross event here are some pro photos taken of my car.

I also have an update. i Recently added Ferodo DS2500 Pads for front and rear.
I added Stop Tech SS brake lines front and rear. ATE Super Blue brake fluid. Perrin Brake Booster brace. The brakes after the installs are an incredible improvement. i first did the brace, then added lines and fluid, then added pads the increase with each part is amazing. Highly recommended . |
New Update.
Sorry i havent been on in a while ive been having one busy summer. so i havent tracked a in a little but im going to be at the end of the month. i got bored of the hp and sound so i decided to go to the next step, so i bought a catless front pipe made by Invidia. very easy install like the cat back system. nice welds and good material. the sound is deff louder and more race car like sound lol. i can definitely feel the hp and trq gain when you step on it. more responsive and just to test it out. my friend with a bone stock brz rolled off a light with me we went from 1st to 4th gear and i was a good 3 car lengths ahead at least. and the stock catted pipe weighs a ton. this new one weighs 3.9 pounds or so |
Looks great nice to see these getting tracked

NP! Thinking of picking my self one up ^_^ looking forward for the new pics!!!

yay! track car!
|
I see that you are planning on getting the Mishimoto oil cooler. I had spoke with someone over at Mishimoto a few weeks ago and their oil cooler does not come with a thermostat. I know that the Perrin one does and personally think it looks way better as well. Perrin makes some quality parts.:party0030:

So I decided that I love this car soo much im not going to track her much, too scared of possibly crashing or someone hitting me. So I bought a 86 RX7 turbo II track prepped for racing in. cheap car and parts are cheap too. Ill still use the 86 for auto cross and maybe a few drift events
