Greddy sp elite with Motiv front pipe and over pipe?
 

Anybody running a Greddy Sp Elite with a Motiv front cat/catless and over pipe?

Im running a Greddy SP with Perrin front pipe and Perrin Over Pipe

How's that working for you? Just went with the sp elite but was looking for future add-ons. Fitment issue's?

No fitment issues. I can try and make a vid of the sound in the parking garage tonight. The sp had a very mild sound when I added it to the car and with the over pipe and front pipe added a bit more pep and rumble to it.

A vid would be awesome if you can. Is this still your current setup?

What size is the Greddy SP Elite? I checked on ft86speedfactory.com it listed 60mm (2.36"). I'm not sure if that is the same as 2.5".

I would love to go with perrin on the combo but I feel like motiv is just as good but at a better price.

I would go with Motiv. Their build quality is far better than Perrins and customer service is second to none. I had the Perrin front pipe and over pipe but switched to Motiv's product. My system right now is a Motiv front pipe and over pipe paired with Stromung axle back.

Considering the axle back gives about 1-4hp; how much improvement do you feel the OP and FP made?

Bump. Can a catback with the overpipe and front pipe be installed easily? I know the catback should be easy with a jack and some stands, but do I need to do anything special to install the dp/op like jack the engine up? I've never installed stuff like this before, but I want to do it right. I heard it isn't too hard.

I also have the sp elite, can I also go with a Perrin midpipe and the install wouldn't run into problems with fitment or anything ? What would you recommend to go with the sp elite?

out of the three which would you say is the best of the two to get a better boxer rumble... not worried about performance. i have the SP elite and want to add 2 of the 3... Motiv Front Pipe/Motive OverPipe/ or the Works Midpipe that you said will fit the SP Elite Axle Back

and also does this midpipe have a cat in it ? i need to be able to pass the emissions test

Non of your video's even do the exhaust setup's justice. You never rev pass 3500 rpm so I can't gauge if that setup sounds any good at all. I don't think people really care about cold start idle sound, warm idle sound, and dead stop drive off like granny video's. We need flyby's and hard throttle off from a dead stop videos to gauge the full spectrum of sounds the exhaust setup makes.

Couple of vendors have said a mid pipe doesn't net any gains. Yet Works offers one that does. I wouldn't buy anything from them after they claimed 10 whp on there drop in filter and refused to let any independent shops dyno it for free when offered. Then when the dyno's did finally come out they already made a killing off them charging twice as much as what other drop in's cost that do the same thing.

I would rather wait for Nameless to come out with one that is made well and uses good materials. I believe the Works mid pipe uses some other material as someone said in another thread and I just don't trust them after that whole drop in filter thing.
