Just thought if share photos of my raven on kwv3 with Work Emotion in 18x9.5 +38 offset. It's at factory set height from kw and rides like stock. Tires are Yokohama s-drive in a 245/35/18 squared setup. I'm considering putting on rpf1 instead if anyone is interested in the works. Thanks. |
More pics this is a clean setup.

I have these wheels on order in staggered fitment..
How much lower is the car from stock? |
Looks great! any more pics?
|
let me know if you decide to sell 'em, looks good man

The car is probably 1.3 inches lower then stock. It rides pretty close to factory except a tad bit firmer. I have no problems clearing driveways at that height and no rubbing at full lock.
|
any issues with that tire size up front? i'm trying to run a 255 all around and wondering how much room there is up front.
alignment specs if you dont mind? |
There is no clearance issues at full lock either way with the 245/35/18. Alignment spec is set up for daily driving as I will be changing out the rims for track purposes and realigning the car. Toe is within factory specs and camber is just outside of factory specs ( not by much). I had evasive do the alignment. I think some members are running 255 but on a 17 inch rim. I think it's pretty tight to fit a 255 depending on which tire manufacturer you go with and your suspension setup. Maybe some other members could provide input on this.
|
Does your setup has any poked issue? I often see 9.5 require approx @ +45 to fit flush for rear tires size up to 255 & 265 w/o poking.
|
It definitely pokes in front a bit. It's not that bad though. I was considering a 255/35/18 but thought it might rub. I would have preferred a wider setup as well since the rim is a 9.5. The rear is not poking out much. Sits pretty much flush.

Looks GREAT! Fitment appears to be spot on.

Keep those they look great!

Thanks guys.

pls help
my set up is 255/35/18tires with work emotion cr kai KIWAMI 18x9.5 +38 offset.. Im lowered on H&R super sport lowering springs...Im also running a 3mm spacer in the front otherwise the wheels will rub on the struts... what can I do to push it back inside and not stick out(poke)... I know coilovers but I have no money for it right now... I also did my research wit camber bolts and camber plates. so which one is it gonna be the camber bolts or camber plates I should use? or both? if camber plates can they be use on stock struts/shocks? thanks
http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7c746ef0.jpg :thanks: |
adding more negative camber will reduce poke
but im fairly sure when using camber bolts, inside clearance with the strut will be lessened and therefor cause the rub your already running a spacer to avoid not sure if camber plates will also cause the same inside clearance issue aswell |
Camber plates will help out. But camber bolts are a no go.

I don't know if any of the camber plates will work with stock diameter springs, but if they will then that's your best bet. I'm not sure if you'll get rid of all the poke, but you'll get rid of some for sure.
As said above the camber bolts will just end up putting the tire back into the strut. As an aside, didn't you see the amount of poke coming from a 255 on a 9.5" +38 wheel up front? |
Combined another topic about same wheels with same specs.

I won't be putting them on until the snow disappears, but these arrived over the weekend:
