Tail lights fogging up??
 

ok, so yesterday we had quite a bit of rain and my driver-side tail light fogged up completely,
drove up to my dealer, he had one look and ordered a new one straight away (under warranty) he also had a look at the door window rubber wear and said he'll take it up with TSA as the amount of wear is unusual at 6 months.

Yep, had the same problem before I got mine replaced. :(

Yep, BOTH of mine fog up....

Have you been to Toyota to have them replaced under warranty?

Both mine fogged up and then one of my replacements fogged up /:

Toyota SA is just useless. I've been waiting for my tail lights to be replaced since December 2012 when I logged a complaint with McCarthy Centurion. Eventualy no one from McCarthy Centurion was getting back to me. I then logged a complaint with Toyota SA two weeks ago. I received an sms from them but to this date no one has contacted me back.

Does anyone have any contact details to complain to TSA - someone in higher management as this is now ridiculous.

I sent them a query with regards to the Aero kit and they said they're not bringing it to SA. :(

You could try talking to Toyota Secunda, The owner is the Head of the TSA board, when i had my 0019 cam gear issue he got TRD there the next day and kept them there till my car was fixed, i did complain about my taillight yesterday so lets see what happens, will keep you posted!!!!

Mine been through numerous car washes and heavy rain and no issues - touch wood...

My left hand side does mist up from time to time. As soon as my baby is fixed, I will make Toyota fix it...

Just went and checked after reading this thread. Especially with all the rain. Everything seems 100s, hopefully stays that way.

im on my 4th set :( they keep fogging up bad and my first set was half under water at one point

Just noticed that after a wash, both my front fog lights fog up.

If the lights are fogging up it's most likely thanks to poor installation. I was concerned about this when I bought mine it had some condensation in the right rear brake light; couple of months and a whole lot of washes and it hasn't happened again.

This should not happen, go in and check your globes are correctly inserted, there is a rubber seal that seals the housing.
LED DRL globes will also help, very little heat from LED.

My tail lights were replaced last week. Let's hope there is no defect on this set.

here is an update, so i reported my tail lights fogging up, and they are being replaced under warranty, have the left hand side one already just waiting for the other side, best of all............... i get to keep my old ones (its modding time my friends, gonna strip it and paint the inside black, or completely red no not signal red Diablo or smoked red haha)

they had to order and gave me the parts invoice for when they arrive, so i just whet and picked it up, the one so far, other one here wednesday
