I was scheduled to pick up my new BRZ on saturday in LI. I think I'll wait until after this all blows over. Let the dealer shovel it out!

:eyebulge: NOO! Tell your dealer to store it in the service bay...or better yet, the heated showroom :D

Orthow 02-07-2013 03:56 PM

Yeah I have been hearing this on the radio all day.. I'm just north of the worst part on that map posted above. I'm actually looking forward to a Snowzilla style storm.. been a while since we've gotten our ass kicked by winter.

But knowing our weather networks I'll prolly end up with 2-3" of useless snow not the 20"+ they are predicting.

PRORICAN 02-07-2013 04:37 PM

^^ hope you're right! Lol

25 year of living in NE has given me pretty strong snow storm fu. This one feels like a whopper to me. I am going to be working from home tomorrow for the first time ever, I don't want to be anywhere near the roads tomorrow.

Tt3Sheppard 02-07-2013 05:17 PM

Yea I'll be driving around 8am tomorrow and hoping we get out early because 24South at 5pm tomorrow will be bad bad bad

Ha! I knew someone was gonna say that. I thought the same thing right after!

Mobius357 02-07-2013 09:03 PM

I got my truck all ready, 500 pounds of sandbags. The BRZ will be sitting comfy in the garage. I'll be on the road and into work well before anything starts to accumulate, and expect to be home before it gets heavy.

Makes me real glad I bought another Jeep for the winter. I live in central CT and work as field based business consultant all over MA, RI, NH, and ME. I drive alot.

Think I may be staying home tomorrow though.

8ft snowdrifts here in Wallingford, CT..... my FR-S is in the garage but my Cherokee is missing......

Not sure what the actual snowfall totals are yet as there doesn't seem to be ANY consistent ground cover due to the insane wind.

I'll snap some pics before I start up the snowblower.... hopefully it's up to the job.

One of my best friends works for the National Weather Service in New York, and holy shit the pictures she has been sending me.

The turkey picture was taken the day before.

Those pictures are from outside the national weather service station in New York. She is sending me more pictures from the chopper she is taking to PA in about 2 hours.

My driveway is only about 20-25 feet long and leads up to a two car garage....

Pulling pics off my camera and phone now.

This is a good one.... at one point I went out there and realized I hadn't grabbed my mail yesterday. It was ruined... fortunately it was junk mail.
