LHD Europe 86 Headlights, Anyone interested?

Sorry guys he tried placing an oder for a set of head lights but they asked him for a Vin and so on. I'm disappointed to say this is a no go. :(

Would any one be interested in getting a set of European 86 head lights? For BOTH it would be like $1,500. Yes both! My best friends brother is in Europe for a couple of months and he said he would be willing to help us out. Let me know if guys are interested.

Starting a list of people interested, Pm me if you want to be added

Yea just the housing

BatStig 02-07-2013 12:03 PM

Might be a dumb question, but is that without the LED strip?

iketiak 02-07-2013 12:04 PM

Does anyone know if the autoleveling feature requires an extra wiring harness or is that built into the headlight unit itself?

I'm interested depending on what else I'd need to make them work right

BatStig 02-07-2013 12:14 PM

So all we would need is projectors then? Damn. I've got some serious decisions to make.

GT86drifter 02-07-2013 12:15 PM

To my knowledge they should work by just swapping them out and changing some pins around

What do you mean projectors? It comes with them already

Squishy86 02-07-2013 01:07 PM

Theres an article on garagefrs on using the jdm headlights in the FRS. It involves switching some pins in the harness around. I believe you will still need the stock D4S bulbs and ballast.

Well if that's the case and $1500 will have them ready to go...I'm in. How much time do we have before we'd be ordering them?

I have 1 set ordered right now and I was planning on ordering a set at a time. So the faster you order it the faster you get it.

Sorry. I confused myself. For some reason I thought it was an empty shell of a headlight. Not sure how I came up with that.

I'll now contribute something useful:

Here's a post from @Moto-P detailing how to get these headlights wired up and working properly: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=22

Now I'm really interested.

GT86drifter 02-07-2013 04:55 PM

someone should do write up with led motors and adjustable switch to make this complete

Squishy86 02-07-2013 05:03 PM

Found it.

Very kind of you to offer this service, my good man. Now to decide if I want to spend $1500 on some European headlights or actually tour Europe itself with that money...

*KID* 02-07-2013 10:20 PM

I was so pumped in getting them too! O well I tried :(

BatStig 02-12-2013 04:51 AM

The effort is appreciated. Thanks for trying.

nigel-jdmparts 02-12-2013 02:01 PM

FYI, you guys can always hit me up and set up a group buy purchase to better price.
There is a few options to purchase the headlight, you can buy ONLY the housing.
Which mean it doesn't come with ballast, hid bulbs etc.
Or the full housing with HID bulbs and ballast.
Without the ballast and HID bulbs, the housing itself will be cheaper.
