PALLISADES MALL MEETUP for APRIL 6th AC MEET
 

All, This is the thread to register for those who will be meeting at the Pallisades Mall Center OR Brookdale Rest Stop! for the April 6th AC Meet @ Tropicana (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27830). Please see the diagram below. I will start the journey at the Pallisades Center Mall and will be leaving at 11:30am EST to make our way to the next stop at the Brookdale Rest Stop (A1).

see the thing is, this is the closest "meet point" to me, but I would have to travel north just to have to travel south again to go to AC.

plus its like driving to work (since I work there).

if there's no meet point off route 17 in jersey then I'll come here

We could meet at hooters and wait for them to pass by?

LoL, I just may do that - I'm down the road from there! But I'll wait a few hours and see where the buzz is heading - I don't want to be too far away from the highway, preferably rest stops or parking lots right off the exits.

maybe you can go to cheesequake and wait for them.

You know, for the sake of keeping things simple - I think it's best that everyone meets at one of the locations... No need to create a bunch of meet spots. I don't want to be stopping every 20-30 minutes. I think 3 meet spots are good enough. I'm pretty sure most people will be meeting at Cheesequake. I don't want to get too granular on meeting points. I'm pretty much planning out an artery pathway. If small groups of 3-5 can coordinate their own meets near the path, then they can call me 30 mins ahead of time and we can do a pit stop just to pick them up... or coordinate the exits and catch up... It's only a 2 hour drive from start to finish, I can understand if we were driving for 4-5 hours then I would love to have everyone coordinated, but worst case scenario - if you miss the convoy, either catch up or meet us at the Tropicana!! :thumbup:

:word: So where exactly do you guys want to meet at the Palisades? I doubt the lot we used for the meet will be busy on a Saturday morning so we could meet there. It's off the left of the actual mall. Just be mindful of those annoying speed bumps. They aren't tall, just a small amount of them in a row that make a weird sound when you drive over them! lol

We've got a gang of 10 BRZs/FR-S coming from MA. They're rolling with us from Pallisades Mall. Exciting stuff.

Yep! Let's see if I can fill up my 5 Gallon Tank I bought with E85 for the trip, without getting scolded at the gas station!

I would imagine it would, but it is earlier in the day and shouldn't be too much of a problem.

It won't be an issue. Lord and Taylor isn't that great lol. We should be rolling out with 10-20 cars starting from Pallisades Mall. Looking forward to this - gonna be a megaphone... it will help lol

the mall's not THAT bad at 10ish am but the J lot (where the last meet was) is a slightly better meeting spot, especially given that it's easy to get to the highway from it
