Adding the 20mm spacers makes the stock wheel look more aggressive and stand out. http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/...psce3d5942.jpg http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/...ps560c72f1.jpg http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/...ps07d2ba44.jpg http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/...pscbc9d94f.jpg http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/...psb1168e13.jpg http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/...psf2aed050.jpg http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2f627fff.jpg Update on pictures Feb 6, 2013 Fortune Auto 500 Series with Swift Springs upgrade, will post before and after image once is done, stay tune: http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3b7ee3d2.jpg Exterior: Charge Speed front lip 5-Axis side skirts and rear add-on Interior: Bride Low Max seats red Takata street harness black Personal steering wheel, worksbell hubs and quick release Cusco drfit button Defi oil pressure and oil temp gauges, AEM A/F gauge Greddy Boost controller Suspension and Foot work: Fortune Auto 500 series with Swift Springs upgrade GT Spec rear camber kit Big Brake upgrade from 2012 STI Works XD9 18x9 and 18x10, wrap with Dunlop Direzza ZII 225/40 and 255/35 Engine: FBM Turbo kit, recently upgraded the turbine with Turbonetics 50 trim turbo Mishimoto oil catch can Greddy magnetic plug Drivetrain: ACT Stage 2 clutch and streetlite flywheel |
Suhweeet! Thanks for sharing! Let us know how you like the FA's!

Next project is the STI calipers conversion, in conjunction with these wheels on the car. Sorry, I haven't gotten a chance to take some photo with them. so just the wheels for now.

Sweet progress. It's amazing what some spacers can do for looks of the stock wheels!

But now I can recolor the wheels to have a better look of the stock wheels. :party0030:, I wasn't a FAN of the stock wheels until the spacers installed and dropped |
Any plans for an exhaust or are you waiting for the turbo? The spacers look sweet

hows the ride with the FA with Swift springs
|
Great ride like stock or feel better than stock in soft, and dial them on hard then it rides like a race car.
Hands down, I have a DC5 coil for my 350z for drifting competition and daily compares to Fortune auto i felt equally great, cant wait for the next track day or drift even to try on the new setup. Great job on the shocks build and with the springs rate opinion from the owner, he is very knowledgeable. So far I was able to do something drift testing around where I live has an unoccupied play ground that I can do, so I will keep on update on the coilovers, for people dont know this brand, just keep this in mind, fortun auto is ISO standard company everything it made has follow the standard and specifications, ISO=great. 8kg for front and rear, this spring rate good for drifting and autocross, track race need to set on hard with the correct tires combination, the car will transform into a corner monster. |
HI,
It looks great. Where you buy your spacer? What's the suitable size for that? I saw some people use 25 mm and some use 20 mm. How do you think? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22596 Thanks. Quote:

I'm liking the ride height with the FA's... I'm running the HT Autos full lip kit and as much as I'd like to go another inch lower I think I would scrape everywhere I go. I'd love to check it out in person sometime....
|
How are you gonna flash those sexy rims and not show them mounted!! The nerve of some people..
|
Wheels and front STI calipers just got put on the car.

How much of a drop are you running? I have the HT Auto's Full kit and am scared to go low, I have KW's on the way though.

Did you have to remove the fog lights to install the overlays?

I'm definitely a fan of the White and Gold. Did you save any weight in the wheels over stock?

Stock wheel and tire weights
Tire = 20lbs
Wheel = 21.5lbs Slightly off thread sorry!?! Where did you score the black sti calipers? What model year? Thanks for taking our SWP limited BRZs down a very nice road. :thanks: |
