does Scion sell a spoiler for this car now? I didn't know that!
i guess so. wtf.
could use more photos from diff angles. cant really tell much from that one
Its on scions website now. Wtf moment.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2 |
yeah just checked out scion.com. the builder has the trd exhaust and the spoiler availible in it
Rather have the five axis spoiler.
It's not bad, but I like my Five:AD spoiler better.
Hmm, I'll have to see it in person. I tend to prefer no spoilers/wings. Though I did keep the wing on my evo since it was functional.
In person its better. Also depends on the color of your car as weird as that sounds.
yes its been on the website for about a week i believe
Semi- old news. I contacted my Scion dealer and they can order it for you for $470
It's available thru your dealership if they have TRD access. My Toyota dealership has it for 350 painted via your vin #, plus an optional template for 70.
I'm looking to get it as it reminds me a Z32TT early 90s style. Besides that, it looks classic to me. Dealership can have it in 1-2 busn days. |
Installed: Scion factory spoiler. Took ~3hrs to install without the template (saved $70). $305.20 OTD thru my dealearship with 20% coupon. Otherwise, $350 & tax. Ordered on 2/7 morning, installed 2/8 evening.
The color match is dead on at every angle and shade of light (purchased the car 12/9 and it's been garaged). Dealership will Resist-All the spoiler next week. :party0030:The struts that came with the spoiler makes the trunk fly up (spoiler not installed). I'm glad Toyota upgraded the struts!! And 2 sets of 10mm and T30 torx screws (Toyota packaged the spoiler with the 10mm screws being used). Instructions said torx screws but the 10mm works fine (I used the torx screws). Garaged again until next week for the sealant and tape to settle. http://i789.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps0cc80f8f.jpg http://i789.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps867bc460.jpg Now it looks like this... http://i789.photobucket.com/albums/y...psa49baa32.jpg Duplicate post on the NorCal thread, sorry. |
I just can't tell if I like the OEM spoiler or not. I'll have to see it in person.
just more comparison shots in white. I would have neither but would choose the Toyota one if I had to.
