Giggle Dyno Approved by 2 other people

Marcoscrdo 02-02-2013 04:44 PM

Now we need turbo bof compilations :)

infinite012 02-02-2013 05:00 PM

Why is there still no torque? The EJ series made comparatively gobs of torque....

It's all about the compressor. Crawford's BRZ dynoplot looks like an EJ dynoplot.

Let me take you for a ride, and see if it's enough.. But I think it's moreso the design of the engine and the DI.

Crawford's setup is also a built motor with lower compression. The other turbo kits on stock motors all show similar hp:torque ratio.

infinite012 02-03-2013 06:50 AM

Very well. I was just hoping for a torque curve more similar to my 2008 STI. 320whp and 340ft-lb torque.

swift996 02-03-2013 09:03 AM

The torque curve looks very nice to me. That must be a blast to drive. I can't wait to get some forced induction.

Pure Automotive 02-03-2013 05:09 PM

The turbo looks like it was designed to be there, the car drives like it was designed to be turbo, it really takes it to a new level

LIKEABOSS 02-03-2013 05:16 PM

Impressive! :)

Marcoscrdo 02-03-2013 05:55 PM

I want turbo i will get turbo must have turbo

Pure Automotive 02-04-2013 08:41 PM

I stopped by the dyno today and pulled up our 310hp dyno chart and changed to SAE Correction with 0 Smoothing for those who are interested

_F-R-S_ 02-12-2013 09:46 AM

Pretty str8 line

Jahdai42 02-12-2013 10:05 AM

Whoop... What is the turbo lag like?

Pure Automotive 02-12-2013 10:13 AM

Not bad at all, boost comes in around 3500-4000 and almost instantly hits full boost and carries on to redline. This GT28 is very efficient for our cars. With lower boost, a smaller, ball bearing turbo is ideal, it minimizes lag.
