You could, but if you purchase the RF remote, you can control it from anywhere (up to 20-30 yards away from the vehicle even). It uses radio frequency instead of infrared with a sensor.

What's the definition of a DRL. An illuminated source to be used during the day. Audi uses LED as a DRL. I mean if you wanted them to be considered as a DRL, you could. Since this is purely an aesthetic application I have concerns. For the LED AEs what would bother me is that when they are off that the individual LEDs can be seen. I see on your site that you do have a kind of diffuser, but is this strictly for the light or would it also kind of mask the LEDs when off as well? On the other hand I also saw that you have CCFL AEs on your site too. Are these full ring or is there a cut off? Either way do you guys have pictures of the CCFL AEs?
