ExWhyZer0 01-26-2013 11:46 PM

Burrcold 01-26-2013 11:48 PM

Respect. Better than mommy or daddy footing the bills.

wbradley 01-26-2013 11:49 PM

I don't see anything sad about working and making money.

vobla6.0 01-27-2013 12:01 AM

Some say he bought an FRS...
While other's insist he works as a delivery boy for pizza hut...
He's not Takumi, but he's Takumi's American cousin...

KaliKev 01-27-2013 12:06 AM

Are you kidding me? The purchase of a new car is a terrible financial decision if you are living off tips and delivery pizza...

Please don't think this is ever a good idea...

You dont know his/her life story. Just saying.

Duff_man 01-27-2013 12:12 AM

FR-S is fun to drive, while not make profit while driving it? The guy is a genius!

Wattage 01-27-2013 12:13 AM

Hey. Maybe the guy won the lottery and is a millionaire. Then he bought this car, and said "fuck, I need a job that I don't give a shit about where I can just drive this car all the time!"

StOpNG0x 01-27-2013 12:14 AM

I was hoping this day would never come... Guess I was wrong.

beesmiff07 01-27-2013 12:27 AM

Pizza delivery makes that much in tips??? wow....

CircuitJerk 01-27-2013 12:44 AM

I tip a minimum of $5.00 for delivery.

chenshuo 01-27-2013 12:45 AM

guys, Pizza Hut did this on purpose to attract attention. This car attracts more attention than any Pizza Hut ads!

armythug 01-27-2013 12:54 AM

Making fast deliveries is in this car's DNA. Go watch Initial D

mush 01-27-2013 01:06 AM

i think delivering pizza is his excuse to drive the car all day HAHA

seriously tho... his car gonna forever smell like pizza:barf:

Nevermore 01-27-2013 01:06 AM

I'm pretty sure someone said early on they were dreading the day someone started using an FR-S to deliver pizzas. Make sure you don't show whoever that was this picture.

Other than that, if he can afford it, why not? I can't afford a house, that's why I live with my parents. But I can damn sure afford the FR-S. Never pass up an opportunity to do something you enjoy. Just, you know, make sure your parents enjoy still having you around before you try to stay. They might resent you otherwise. My dad encouraged me to get the FR-S, and it's his benefit from work that allowed me to get it.

Who knows, maybe this guy's in the same kind of situation. He can afford the car, lives with his parents, pays the bills with his tips and is just biding his time until his big break comes along. I just hope that thing doesn't scratch the paint.

lbroskee 01-27-2013 01:13 AM

everytime i see a dilivery guy since i bought this car i think to myself "i hope no1 does it with our car or they may get a roof scratch"

gwascopter 01-27-2013 01:15 AM

at least hes not askin his parents to pay his bills like some people around here.

lbroskee 01-27-2013 01:41 AM

LeeMaster 01-27-2013 01:56 AM

I see nothing sad about this at all, it gives him an excuse to drive this car.

mrlewistan 01-27-2013 02:33 AM

i deliver food for a living too! but i dont use the frs. dont wanna make it smell like chinese food inside

Exhaust 01-27-2013 02:58 AM

Hey man, if hes happy. Who gives a rats ass what hes doing. I respect this.

And yes there was a thread and a whole debate on people delivering pizzas and owning an FRS.

Takumi's cousin? His father owns that Pizza hut and he is doing deliver to help out? He may drift the car really well...I wonder if the pizza toppings are still staying on top when delivered? LOL...

wrxgoose 01-27-2013 04:29 AM

I deliver pizzas in my FRS. i get to drive it ALL the time, and i get good money doing it. the car is paid in full, and i have other sources of income so i don't have to worry about bills or anything like that. plus i get paid for every mile i drive, as well. and for now i'm putting napkins under the rubber bases on the magnets. just until i get my vinyl to protect the paint from them

edit: and my car won't smell like pizza, i keep the pizzas in the trunk. it's okay if my trunk smells like pizza.

Dorifto 01-27-2013 04:33 AM

Instead of a small water cup in the cup holder it's a ranch dip lol

Damn on top of the 44k a year?? I'm deff in the wrong line of work.. As a huge military family, depending on how you look at it, you make a good living serving in the military.. Fort Irwin, is full of lotus's, vettes from base to a ZR1.. More then a hand full of the new GT500. BMW M3 and M5's 50k all the way up to a 100k Benz.. Escalades upon escalades.. A ZL1 camaro and such.. As a PV1 that 1k a month doesn't sound like a lot.. And if your living on it.. It's not.. But when all living expenses are paid for, all food and medical is paid for.. Then a thousand to blow a month is more then pocket change.. And once you make some rank.. It just goes up from there.. The problem is with soldiers that think the military will support them, a wife and 5 kids with two car payments, and a house of financed furniture and what not.. Growing up as a family of 4 seeing the world and having my father home a lot more then his previous job.. We lived good, and had everything my brother and I ever needed and pretty much wanted..

Im in no way mocking the pay that enlisted members of the military get. Basic pay for an e1 really isnt much even after you add in all the allowances they give you. But I do know how much potential there is in staying with the military. Anyone willing to risk their life for our country deserves the money. Only reason im not in the army right now is because they found out I have asthma in MEPS. No offense ment in my post.

wrxgoose 01-27-2013 04:59 AM

MPs in the USAF get BAS along with their regular pay, because our hours prevent us from eating at the chow hall.

and the people asking about making good money while delivering, i made $113 last night working from 4:30-2, plus my $4.25 an hour on the road, and $7.25 an hour in the store. it's much better money than i thought it would be

That's what I came to type. People get bored not having a job, and what better job to have than one that forces you to drive a shitty and boring car like that! Could be a second job too.

ib 01-27-2013 10:51 AM

Yeah, I see that and think "second job." A few hours delivering pizzas on evenings/weekends should cover the car payment, and as others have noted, it's a good excuse to spend more time driving.

Military has it's perks, depending on your AFSC/MOS and whether your primary AFSC has 4 or 5 characters :)... I've never had to worry about chow hall's etc. But I can say in the past I've been paid 118 a day for 90 days, while staying in a 5 star hotel, on top of my base pay, BAS, and BAH... Big saving when you're a cheap ass like myself. Plenty of similar opportunities arise throughout the branches... Very comfortable living on a daily basis, and gobs to be made TDY & on deployments.

But if the opportunity arises to do the same thing I'm currently doing on the civilian side, damn right I'm going to take it. lol
