After months of research and development, FIVE:AD has finalized designs for the Five Axis Edition Scion FR-S package.

With so much excitement and inquiries stemming from the Scion FR-S Concept built by Five Axis, we wanted to focus on developing parts that would draw inspiration from the concept, while also complimenting the final production vehicle. The resulting parts offer design cues from the concept for consumers, along with the fit and finish that enthusiasts expect from FIVE:AD products.

Scion FR-S parts soon to be released as part of the Five Axis Edition package by FIVE:AD will include:

- FIVE:AD 4-piece aero kit
- FIVE:AD rear spoiler
- FIVE:AD 19" alloy wheels (staggered and non-staggered)
- Sport lowering springs
- Five Axis Edition badging

As shown in the attached image, the FIVE:AD wheel shown on the Scion FR-S Concept will be put into production. More info on this wheel, along with additional images and information for all FIVE:AD Scion FR-S parts, will be released soon.

The team from Five Axis/FIVE:AD was recently invited to attend the official reveal of the Scion FR-S in Hollywood, CA on November 30th, 2011. The event was very exciting for us at Five Axis because of our involvement with the Scion FR-S Concept build. But now we are switching gears to develop parts under FIVE:AD for the production FR-S!

We have various things in the works currently, including an aero kit as well as new wheel designs that will be offered as part of the Five Axis Edition Scion FR-S package. More info will be posted once design leads into production for these new parts.

And to get a glimpse of the FR-S reveal event, be sure to checkout the Five Axis/FIVE:AD YouTube Channel. We recently posted a video detailing features from the reveal. Any questions about FIVE:AD's plans for FR-S, or any feedback on what you may want to see from FIVE:AD, please let us know!

Aero kit thats dealer installed A+, something close to the FRS concept yeah that will be nice, hope nothing ricy

Dark 12-07-2011 04:23 PM

They are also designing a new Five Axis wheel for the edition too. Hope the wheel design looks better than the existing wheels in the lineup.

Kids Heart 12-07-2011 04:25 PM

I hope they do the headlights too.

madfast 12-07-2011 04:26 PM

I want a small rear lip spoiler, that's it. nothing too big. and it has to flow with the creases on the trunk. something like this:

NOT like this

SUB-FT86 12-07-2011 04:26 PM

I hope so too Dark, because the stock wheels look boring as hell. I need some aggressive looking wheels with a offset that pushes the wheels to the fender.

Zgrinch 12-07-2011 04:26 PM

Just for fun I went to thier website and priced out a full aero kit, 19" wheels and a drop for a 2011-12 Scion tC and it came out to around $3,600

chessplaya2010 12-07-2011 04:27 PM

I have heard in the past that these modified versions from 5 Axis can actually be purchased? how true is this... and quoting from the article...

"We have various things in the works currently, including an aero kit as well as new wheel designs that will be offered as part of the Five Axis Edition Scion FR-S package"

RRnold 12-07-2011 04:27 PM

Can't say they have the nicest wheels but their bodykits are ok.

Whole package comes with the car is probably cheap imo.

Price listed on Five Axis website is higher than what dealers/retailers normally sell. R6:F starting at 195 on Five Axis website, but starting at 165 some retailers includes Toyota dealers. I'm sure you can haggle more. :D

xc 12-07-2011 05:16 PM

i would really like one

WingsofWar 12-07-2011 06:00 PM

YES!! You could design a better body/aero kit than 99.9% of the people out there WoW.

ZetaVI 12-07-2011 06:09 PM

YES! I was waiting for this news for a long time.

I say do it, Josh. You works are amazing.

ydooby 12-07-2011 08:24 PM

Man... I wonder how much it'll cost to make my FR-S look exactly like the FR-S concept. It looks so hot and exotic.

All around kit + plus wheels and tires, you're looking for 2500 more than base model.

$2500 is cheap....if we are talking about making the car look like the FRS concept...be prepared for a +10k to +20k price tag not including install and paint.

Doors, sideskirts, quarterpannel, front bumper, rear bumper, fenders, hood, front headlamps, LED taillights, diffuser, trunk, side mirrors, wheels

The entire car is a different package over the production FRS.

switchlanez 12-07-2011 09:52 PM

Are Five Axis kits made of FRP or PU?

DuMa 12-07-2011 11:02 PM

i really enjoyed the lip kit they made for the first gen tc. it was cleaner than the TRD and fit better than all the other aftermarket designs. unfortunately i never could justify getting a lip kit when i was slammed. cant wait to see what they have in store for the FR-S. hopefully duckbill wing.

Exactly. To make FR-S production looks like a concept car is expensive. What I wanted to say is, aero kit, which is tape on like Euro GT86, all around + wheels/tires are at least $2500 more than base model.

To people, Five Axis said the aero kit is inspired by FR-S concept, but don't think it will look close to FR-S concept, which has exotic lines.

I'll be impressed when we hear news about some power modifications in development.

There are going to be a million and one options for wheels, body kits, springs, etc. Let's see some quality under the hood options get started :)

Greddy is working on performance parts. I'm sure giant tuners will follow shortly afterward.

CyberFormula 12-08-2011 12:17 AM

and so the multi-colored unpainted body panels on a scion frs begins.

Make that panel. At least in the past, entire kits that were purchased were only available prepainted.

I can't say that I've been disappointed with any Five Axis design I've seen, and I love a few of the Five:AD wheels. I'm looking forward to what they bring to market.

WingsofWar 12-08-2011 12:31 AM

^ i hope whatever wheel they design, it has concaved spokes and a wicked offset.

switchlanez 12-08-2011 02:07 AM

Curious to see how aggressive they'll be with the wheel well gap/offset. Getting that right costs more than a body kit.

subaruslow 12-08-2011 02:21 AM

hoping for bbk

I'll admit if looks as sharp as the concept and not too showy I'll switch back to the FRS camp(like it matters really what brand you go with in the first place)

koyv90 12-08-2011 01:14 PM

when you contact them tell them to make it like this:
http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagam...3/AY0F2805.jpg

then they will have to say Oh cool Or Oh no thats already being released by Scion.

We can find out if they are really releasing this kit in America or not ;)!

On side note: Guess im the only guy who hates the concept car? It was ugly and tried to hard to look "futuristic" (my opinion)

JDLM 12-08-2011 01:29 PM

I have 0 faith
