Am I the only one that has lottery garage dreams?

Ok, so every now and then my wife and I buy a lottery ticket for s&g, of course we never win....however it usually makes me think "what if"

So the game is, if you had the money and a 3 car garage for toys what 3 cars would you want and why?

For me:

1. My GSX, everyone needs a drag car. and with that much money I can go from the low 9.2 best et deep into the 8's or 7's (ala shep) and that would be cool, Why? because racecar.

2. Corvette c6Zo6, Big power turbo build highway car full interior. Why? because pimpin ain't easy, but it should be fast.

3. Frs, I have only driven one once, but out of the 40+ cars ive owned/driven it ranks easily in the top 5 fun factor without having 16742694367whp. thats a pretty rare thing alot of people dont realize about these cars. Why? Simple enjoyment driving without having a **** measuring contest at every car meet. taht shit gets exhausting.

Ferrari F430.. grew up loving ferrari
Lambo aventador.. grew up loving lambo's
and the last has been a mix of a new zonda or Koenigsegg just depends on my day. the zonda.. just how mechanical it looks.. the koenigsegg is just pure sex

id leave the FRS outside the garage for the family car

yeah.. thats why i said it would have to be a big lotto.. in fact i was doing this with my mom as they are starting the power ball or what ever here in cali in april.. and we agree if i win or she wins.. they take care of my money lol.. id be broke in 2 years even if i won 500 million.. i just suck with money and i would invest in to many high risk things, hoping to make more money to live off it.. put up a ton for my kids so they wouldnt have to work and would be set for life.. i wouldnt buy a huge mansion or anything.. just a nice house and a nice garage, its just cars and bikes.... my downfall... oh and vegas :brokenheart:

Best saying I heard was "you never win in the casino, you just hold their money" thats so very true.

living 2 hours away i go there alot.. get on the casino's promo list and get rooms for cheap.. luxor, Excalibur, for 20$ a night.. treasure island for 35$ a night.. anyway.. i stay away from New York New York.. that place just takes my money.. i have great luck in circus circus, 1$ blackjack.. but planet Hollywood and me... roulette.. thats my game... i was up about 2k and had to bet it all.. always wanted to.. just go all out. i put 3k on black... it was red lol.. 4 hours of playing and im back to where i started.. but it was fun.. if i added what ive won... what ive lost, and what ive spent.. i bet im about even.. im good at doubling my money then walking away and doing it again.. most my trips are "free" because i like to get to the point of winning what it cost to go and stay then im good.. my friend on the other hand.. gets up 4-5k and keeps playing till he is back at the ATM pulling out more to win back everything he lost lol..

dsmx17 01-24-2013 02:34 PM

I must be your friend, and I <3 roulette! I was up about 1,000 at one point and went all in on the hot numbers and my normal plotting it hit one of 8 I had nothing on I then promptly went to the bar and got hammered in circus circus.

side note, I friggin love treasure island, kahunaville is the best bar ive ever been too

Gixxersixxerman 01-24-2013 02:46 PM

last time i went with three other coworkers.. we walk into Excalibur.. My friend Kush is a big ol black guy looks like a collage football player, walks in and sees a black guy throwing dice at the craps table.. he is telling us all the way there if you see a black guy throwing dice go start betting.. he goes up throws down a 100 on hard 6.. walks off with 900.. we just got in the building lol he played football in high school and was number 56.. walks up to the roulette table puts a 100 on 56.. walks off with 3500.. we havent been there 15 minutes yet.. he bought dinner and some drinks.. calls his cousin that plays for the seahawks and we get VIP into club Pure at ceasers.. spent awhile there.. im sick and head to bed.. around 3 or 4.. next morning kush cant be found.. finally get ahold of him.. dude lost it all playing craps and roulette after the club in ceasers lol.. its easy to spend it after you win it, if you dont walk away

I would install 3 car lifts in the garage to start with, along with a few tool chests with every tool i would ever need.

My three cars would be:

1. My currect Celica. (I'd finish all my mods and cherish it. It's the first car i ever bought and i love it.)

2. I would likely pull the trigger on an FRS at this point. I would then totally track it out.

3. My final car is more difficult-- there are waves of cars i'd love to have. My third would need to likely be my DD, so it would have to be a bit more practical than the two tracked out cars. I'm thinking a WRX STi. It would be good in the winter, it would be good on track, and it could hold groceries and car parts.

I'm a very frugal person and i would much rather have a fleet of built spec cars than one Ferrari or some Mercedes. The only expensive cars i'd likely want would be Porsches. I've never liked luxury or lavish cars. In fact, they repulse me. For the cost of one of those luxury vehicles, i could have a fleet of Challenge 944s. I admire the concept of built not bought.

Anyways, that's what i would do with my lotto winnings-- the rest would be used to HPDE and buffets.

Khánh 01-24-2013 03:12 PM

^^ hoooray to Buffets and Car lifts!! haha

zenki_levin 01-24-2013 03:44 PM

1) my ae86 completely restored

2) I've always like muscle/classic cars so probably one of those. Can't really decide which one.

3) Something exotic and fast. Lambo aventador, R35 GT-R etc...

this is a day in day out daydream for me so have spent alot of time working it out.
ok so in the garage i'd have:

1. Porcshe 918
2. Ferrari F70
3. Aston Martin one-77

and then infront of each garage door i'd park

1. Range Rover Evoque
2. WRB BRZ
3. some sort of 4x4

and on the street i'd keep my JZX110 MkII

YukiHachiRoku 02-18-2013 05:59 AM

I wouldn't buy any cars, I'd go travel for a long time, surf, and eat the most ridiculous foods, talk to any girls I felt like, and rent exotics and rip around in them, then hand the keys back.

tdoggy57 02-18-2013 06:21 AM

Some of you guys hace awfully modest taste lol.

Id have to go into deep researching mode, but off the top of my head...

Ferrari 458
Mercedes AMG Coupe (not sure exactly which one)
A 4 door sporty car...something like a Panamera or Rapide

Supermassive 02-19-2013 05:12 PM

Only 3 cars!?! First one is easy, Im a diehard Ferrari fan so an F12 Berlinetta would be #1. Number two would be a little English with an Aston Martin Vanquish (the new one). The third car to bless my limited garage space would be something unique, Ive always thought the Spyker C8 Aileron would be a neat car to own. Of course theres about 100 or more other cars I'd like to own....

Calum 02-19-2013 05:50 PM

DD Tesla Model S
For fun and tracking, Ruf CTR 3
The work trunk, early 50's gmc truck on a late model frame and 6.0L engine. The cab would be stretched to allow additional doors and four bucket seats. Body would be shaved, and painted a metallic royal blue with a lace finish.

The wife would probably get a 3 series station wagon or another model S, she's pretty practical.

Project cars would come and go, off the top of my head...
of course the FRS would be in there, an old bugeye wagon, I'd love to see what could be done with BMW's new 2.0L turbo and an old E30, Pontiac Beaumont (only available in Canada :D ), ITR, early 90 Cherokee rock crawler....

I do have fairly practical tastes aswell. I don't think I'd bother with any 'super cars'. But 3 cars is pretty tough. I've got three cars now. If I won the lottery, I'd have more and much more then a three car garage.
