Weather tech all vehicle mats and trunk liner

I checked their website(CAN and US) today. And they now offer the all vehicle mats for the brz/frs and trunk liner. FYI I dont work for them in any way. As someone pointed out the all vehicle mats may be pointless but at least they made the trunk liner.

These are the all weather mats. I believe the scion comes with the all weather mats already. So this may only be applicable to the BRZ.

Those are all weather mats and no the scion doesn't come with them. I thought you meant they had come out with the laser measured digital fit mats. I actually prefer Lloyd's mats for all weather over these weather tech ones. I currently have the Lloyds in my car. I am waiting on the Digital fit mats from weather tech.

Trim to fit. Sounds like you get a generic weather mat and can hopefully trim it correctly. Thanks for the info though.

Turbowned 01-21-2013 01:09 PM

Poopy, wait for the digital fit ones to come out.

mezdup 01-21-2013 02:04 PM

you could potentially get these and use the stock carpeted mats as templates to trim the new mats with.

spgrizz22 01-21-2013 02:15 PM

I'm getting a quote for a new kind if floor mat. It's different it's apparently called ragzine or something but it's super easy to clean and it's looks really good.

Julio86 01-26-2013 07:58 PM

I went with those AVM all weather floor mats he's talking about from pep boys and trimmed to the size it required. Turned out great IMO ;)

Can never go wrong with weathertech.

No, I just bought a set. $130 CDN, plus $17 HST, $0 shipping.

Hope this works out....But based on some of the generic images of digital fit mats, I think I may need to mod them a bit to prevent salty runoff from dripping down at the dead pedal...

mezdup 01-27-2013 12:00 AM

here's the US link:

@Mac1235 - your digital fit mats are available lol

They're hard plastic, thats why I still prefer the rubber mats but they dont make that custom fit, you have to trim it.

ah that's disappointing. i nearly pulled the trigger yesterday, but then i read your post. i'd much rather have those heavy rubber mats that come with or as an add-on accessory to just about every other car in production haha.

developer 01-28-2013 02:42 PM

I just ordered mine. Watch out, I think the website defaults to 2-day shipping $86. :confused0068: I had to have them cancel my first order and reorder with the correct ground shipping.

serial gixxer 01-28-2013 02:54 PM

So no custom fit rubber mats out yet?

They will never come out. You have to purchase the universal mats and trim it. If you look at post #4, they provide lines so you know where to trim.

so the all vehicle ones are the heavy rubber? might just go to pepboys and go that route.

FRS_Ken 01-28-2013 10:26 PM

I bought a set of digital fit front mats yesterday $99+ shipping to NY.
I'll be going down to pick up other stuff so it works out in the end :)

tinger00 01-29-2013 11:54 AM

FYI guys I live in Il near the weather tech manufacturing facility/factory store In IL . They haven't run the production run for the digi liners yet. But will be doing so in the next few business days.

I was going to pick up today at the factory store and was told this over the phone by a customer service rep.

These floor liners are the better than the heavy rubber ones and worth every penny and the wait time. They are not plastic. They are a more stiff rubber/polymer combo. But have the same texture as a rear floor liner for a Forster/SUV.

This will be the 4th vehicle I'm putting them in.

serial gixxer 01-29-2013 06:05 PM

Does anyone have experience with both the Weathertech digital fit and nice thick rubber all weather mats like in bimmers? I really liked the bmw ones and I'm trying to determine if I should give the digifit a try. What pros and cons have you noticed for each and which do you prefer?

I hope they aren't waiting for a minimum number of orders before starting production.

I decided to go with the digital fit instead of the rubber mats because of the snow(Canada). All the dirt is contained in the mats.

it's not flexibility that concerns me, it's lack of grip. i wouldn't want my feet slipping on them.

If thats the case you would be better with the rubber.

mezdup 01-30-2013 10:29 PM

well i picked up the WeatherTech All Vehicle Mats from pepboys for the same $50 price and they are exactly what i wanted, a nice heavy rubber mat that fits great and won't shift around. i took a short drive with them and feel that i've cut them to fit pretty well. i used the stock carpet mats as templates. the driver's side required the removal of 3 sections while the passenger size fit as is. i used a utility knife to cut them as i found it easier than scissors.

lastly, i made a quick image to show the pieces i cut out for anybody who would like to do the same:
