Wow.. Sorry man.. You being ok is all that matters.. And the people in the other car.. That's it.. Everything else can be replaced. So I hope all that were involved are ok..

_F-R-S_ 01-19-2013 05:35 PM

Yes thanks man everyone is alright. Just pit those tires on 20 minutes ago :/

Rayme 01-19-2013 05:38 PM

This sucks. Get another one!

Gixxersixxerman 01-19-2013 06:01 PM

How low it it.. From that picture.. The roofline looks to be almost as tall as the tail lights.. That's another bad thing about lowered cars, they fit under everything else lol.. If you liked the car, I'd take everything useable off, and after the insurance takes care of everything get another one :)

_F-R-S_ 01-19-2013 06:02 PM

They said it might be repaired if not i take wheels and coilovers and try to get another but insurance wi be three the roof

_F-R-S_ 01-19-2013 06:02 PM

1 and half inches low

ftc~brz 01-19-2013 06:04 PM

wow dude. that blows

_F-R-S_ 01-19-2013 06:06 PM

So much for the painted headlights :/

Pure Automotive 01-19-2013 06:16 PM

Glad you're alright man. Wrong place wrong time. You had an appointment for me to put your wheels on at 2:00. You never showed and I tried calling you but you didn't answer. I hung around the shop until 3:30 to make sure you weren't coming.

_F-R-S_ 01-19-2013 06:23 PM

Sorry bro i was on my way the. This happened

Pure Automotive 01-19-2013 06:29 PM

But the wheels are on it in the pic?

Don't worry about it, I was just worried when you didn't answer your phone.

_F-R-S_ 01-19-2013 06:36 PM

Yes i put the wheels on then was heading over to re check and adjust height

GTB/ZR-1 01-19-2013 06:40 PM

Glad you're okay--bad luck...

ST185RC 01-19-2013 06:46 PM

Damage looks worse than the damage that happened to a similar white one in recent memory and that one was written off. I fear this will have the same fate. Sorry for your loss, bro.

IloveBaldEagles 01-19-2013 07:11 PM

Good to hear about your safety. Cars are replaceable, people are not.

ShoGun 01-19-2013 07:45 PM

Sorry to see it man! Hope everything works out

DGMBRZ 01-19-2013 08:06 PM

That sucks! Hope you're ok and everything works out.

Sorry for your loss. I'd rather they total it. A car just isn't the same anymore after a crash.

Marcoscrdo 01-19-2013 08:31 PM

omfg! OH NOOOOO, damn it im glad your okay tho bro walked outta there okay i hope insurance covers or at least theres a positive out of this.

tech4pdx 01-19-2013 09:01 PM

Very sorry this happened to you. A$$hole drivers around here too who don't give you space when you intend to change lanes. Glad you/others are OK.

Areddi 01-19-2013 09:04 PM

That sucks! :(

Glad you're alright. Keep us posted on the car status, if it ends up getting totaled, grab what you can off of it, I am sure people around here will buy up some of the parts to help recover some of your expense.

Not necessarily. It depends on the body shop. Most of what isn't the same is mostly psychological. Cars break, just like people. We fix it and move on.

_F-R-S_ 01-19-2013 09:12 PM

This sucks im glad those wheels are om though.. Iv put alot of work into this car an took it for granted. Never relized how fast something can be gone until it happens to you.

tech4pdx 01-19-2013 09:21 PM

I know exactly how you feel buddy. I've put 15k into a previous car and was smashed into a quarter panel pretty bad once. It sucked and felt like the car was junk. Once I took it to a good body shop and saw the great work and how everything was ok afterwards, it didn't bother me anymore after some time. In fact, I drove it harder and smarter. (: All will be well..

Darryljr11 01-19-2013 09:25 PM

I be posting pics of accident soon as well. Wasn't as bad as this tho. If its totaled would you get one in a different color?

The one thing that should happen after this is that you learn from the experience. Just like another poster said- cars can be replaced, people can't. It could have been worse to the point that you would have had the burden of taking someone's life. Live and learn. I totalled a brand new 2005 Mini Cooper S when I was 16 and in high school and I completely know what you're going through right now. Take it easy and breathe.

It's really not. GL.

ayau 01-20-2013 12:34 AM

I'd see if there's any damage to the frame.

FRS/BRZ frame:

I'd really feel uneasy if the body shop needs to use one of those frame alignment machines.

LIKEABOSS 01-20-2013 02:19 AM

Sorry about the wreck. Hopefully you get everything worked out without having to she'll out to much. On a positive note the new wheels look good. :)

Pure Automotive 01-20-2013 09:31 AM

If they total it, they sometimes give you the option to buy the car back with a salvage title. They pay off your loan and then put a price on the remains of the car. If you were to buy it back you could part it out and potentially make more money depending on what they value it at.
