I just go this done so they haven't settled completely and I'm gonna hold off on writing down any impressions before I drive these things a bunch. So far the front is down 1 whole inch and the back is lowered about 3/4 of an inch. Huge thanks to Circuit Motorsports for getting this done! Hands down the best shop in Orlando. Very cool and highly knowledgable.

Subtle yet classy drop. Very nice. Thank you for providing accurate measurements, I'm sure that will come in handy at some point.

Hmm very nice. I'm deciding on these or the sportlines.

Car looks really good! I am digging the results from the spring kit.

Glad we could get this done for you, and we appreciate the business :)

I highly recommend the Pro kit if you're looking for a good useable drop. The sportlines will drop the car a little too much IMO, unless you're going for a more dropped look.

mx5apex 01-19-2013 12:07 AM

How's the alignment affected?

Yeah, I'm kinda torn. I think I will want to go lower if I did get the pro kit.. Usually is the case with me ,lol. Thinking about those with Koni Yellows

I got my alignment done right after I got these installed. In my case my right side camber and toe were a bit off.

After the springs settle wont you need another alignment? I'm new at this stuff and trying to gather all the info I can... were they able to get it back in to spec range or will you need camber adjustment parts?

I'm pretty new too, so I'm not exactly sure. If they do settle a bit more, in my mind it would only be a sixteenth of an inch at most which wouldn't throw the camber off too badly.

The alignment got everything back to spec. You won't need to buy camber bolts or anything for them to do the alignment.

tbwoodlee 01-21-2013 06:26 PM

I have these springs as well, did you need a camber kit?

calis5nest 01-21-2013 06:35 PM

I'll like to see this kit with some 18 inch wheels. Thanks 4 sharing

ericmpena 02-02-2014 12:18 AM

Looks good! I just hate how some Pro-Kits look perfect, while others you can barely tell the car is lowered. Either way I wish I had gone with Pro-Kit over Sportlines. My ride is a bit too harsh now. :(

From reading the article, apparently this car is on Eibach Pro-Kit. Looks great. I'm thinking I'm gonna purchase a Pro-Kit and swap out my Sportlines.

"Other parts added to the stock setup were a performance air filter, an Eibach Spring kit lowering the car by 30mm, a fast road geometry setup and performance friction fast road brake pads. The stock wheels were inner changed with Litchfield Nurburg 18 inch lightweight alloy wheels shod in wider Michelin Supersport tires sizing 225/40/18 all around. The standard size is 215/45/18."

IMO it's a perfect drop with great performance handling- aka the way the car should have been created

quasi86 02-02-2014 10:52 AM

I've got eibach pro's. The looks and the ride are improved.

Agree. After seeing those pictures I honestly think that's how I want my car height to be. I saw another pic of a car with a 1.5" drop and it just looks too much. I used to think I wanted it super flush with almost no wheel gap, but now that I've had Sportlines for 6+ months I know that's not what I want anymore. I want something more realistic for daily driving that looks natural...not partially slammed.

teamturbo 02-02-2014 11:07 AM

Just installed my pro kit. Car looks amazing, 15MM front spacers, 20MM rear spacers.

Installed mine yesterday!! I love them. So glad I didn't go with the sportlines.

Not the best picture. I took this right after getting home from the shop so idk if they will settle some more.

ericmpena 02-04-2014 04:19 PM

Wow. I was torn between SWP and WRB for the longest time. Seeing your first picture just floors me! I would've done exactly what you've done! I love how black goes with WRB. Idk why more people don't do it! Especially the side markers. Those smoked ones look perfect.

Also, I had plasti-dipped my factory wheels also before I purchased a real black set. It makes such a big difference with the real thing though! Your bottom picture looks good, but those black Enkei really take it to another level. Thanks for sharing!

Any comparisons/thought between the pro kit and the Tein S Techs?

project d 04-27-2014 09:10 AM

Someone mentioned earlier whether or not:

1) is it REQUIRED to have the camber adjusted after installation of these springs
2) is there any camber adjustability from the OEM setup

1. No
2. No

ericmpena 04-29-2014 10:40 PM

Maybe this is a stupid question, but in the first post the measurement is 25 1/2" after the drop on stock wheels. Soooo....if someone has 18" wheels what should the fender height be? Would it just be one inch higher at 26 1/2" height?

The reason I'm asking is because I love the drop on the Pro-Kit and I'd like to adjust my coilovers to have a similar look. Right now I'm on 18" wheels and my fender height is 25 3/4". It looks great, but I'm curious where I'm at in relation to a Pro-Kit.

Idk if you still have this set up but what are the wheel/tire specs?

I also have the pro kit and having trouble trying to decide what wheels to get. I really want 18x9 and beefy tires

ModBargains 07-30-2014 02:45 PM

I really like that color combo

I'm actually on coilovers now. My drop is about 1.3"....between a Pro-Kit and Sportlines.
