OG Civic concept!!
I like where Honda is going with this and hopefully this will be a spark of much better cars to come. 2015 Integra... yes please!

Love the CVCC inspired front end. I think it looks great.
wow...those are some really nice lines, the features really compliment the overall shape of the car. Im diggin it! especially the front bumper.
Wtf this is ugly.. Honda will never get it right
Title should be.
Honda redefines ugly |
Interesting. I like it.
Why would this little thing be the harbinger of the Integra?
Also, for the record i don't like or dislike its styling. TBH i actually think the headlights are pretty interesting. |
Damn, I would have liked to see it before it ran into the brick wall.
I think its absolutely hideous.
This concept def has some personality to it. I do see a lot of potential.
Not the best looking car, but I would much rather buy that than the current iteration of the civic.
Waaaay better than the Fit.
Yes. good job honda ! let compete with prius C coupe. :)
Not digging the look..
its suppose to be a smart car which makes it look like crap
Cool! Looks way better than the CR-Z. It is interesting but very clean and tidy. I would drive that car (if it was sporty and not an econo-turd).
:barf:
I think I threw-up a little
I like the wheels.
The back isn't much bigger than the Scion iQ. It goes back to the small original civic using some of its styling (grille and headlights) as well as the fuel sipping size. With fuel prices, there is a market for this in the world. Question is where does it fit in the North American line?
these are some small changes to the body i think that would be good to be a bit more pleasing without changing the overall feel and structure of the original.

Uhhhh the fuck is that?
Not every great car has to look like a shark trying to eat a seal. I like it.
Unfortunately I doubt it will come with those brakes and wheels. |

It takes a keen eye to see the potential in this concept and I understand why some folks may not like it. You kind of have to study it for a while to see what it's all about. There are some styling cues that really draw my attention; the front end with the grille and headlight integration, the flush and flat roof, the big door panel that could indicate a very roomy interior, the kinks on the side fender/door and right below the tail light. Perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself but that would be cool to see Honda resurect some of the classic 90's cars. |
Can someone shop out the chrome piece on the grill?

Kinda like this myself. The Honda urban sport crossover looks decent too until I saw 1.5 and cvt...
Crap. Total crap. Honda has lost it and I don't thing they are getting it back.

I really want to like it, but I just can't. That front end is beyond hideous.
It looks like a successor to the fit, or the sonic, or yaris, or any other Z segment cars. thoroughly unimpressive and uninspiring no matter how you cut it, but that generic look is exactly what they were going for in that segment. So, in regards to pulling off what they set out to do, they get an A+ but its nice to see ingenuity and boldness have taken a back seat yet again.
To me it doesn't matter what direction they go in regarding the power plant on one condition.
Figure out what the car is, and do it well. Don't replicate the disaster known as the CR-Z or Accord Crosstour. If it's going to be a hypermiling econobox then great but do that well. Like a 1.3L Turbo Diesel with 150ft/lbs of tq and long gears and gets 60+mpg on the highway and 45+ around town. Or better yet, a turbo diesel hybrid. If it's going to be a sporty car, actually make it sporty like a 1.5L turbo petrol, and a 0-60 under 8 seconds. Please Honda... no more "in-between" BS like the CR-Z where it's terrible at being both a hybrid and a sporty car. |
