Too bad most of the interior parts won't fit USDM cars

darn, didn't think about that =(

But most of the things I want should be ok

Steering wheel, flywheel, Shifter ring, Battery Tie and LSD

Sargy 01-15-2013 04:39 PM

Very nice

JoeBoxer 01-15-2013 04:39 PM

Might be interested in some of the bushings later on

FasterpromsFRS 01-15-2013 04:40 PM

Gah. The fender garnishes are pricey. But must buy. I hope someone can order them.

ichitaka05 01-15-2013 04:40 PM

Painful to see was battery clamp is over $100... ouch!

I just hope TRD USA would give us those options in LHD but I doubt it.. At least the steering wheel looks good. I believe it is a tad bit smaller then what we have now. 360mm vs stock 365mm.

FasterpromsFRS 01-15-2013 04:42 PM

I said that too. And the gauges over 1000

Got3n 01-15-2013 04:42 PM

I want the seats and the steering wheel.

WingsofWar 01-15-2013 04:45 PM

want those TRD recliners but 1800 for the seat + 270 for the rails is STEEEEP..

If it were me, Id buy a Fully optioned TRD model for 50k and let it sit in a heated warehouse for 30-40 years, then let my daughter auction it off for 100k. Consider it a future investment to get my daughter out of any emergency financial trouble.

Beyer Subaru 01-15-2013 04:46 PM

@switchlanez needs the carbon fiber battery tie down to match his strut bar. What.

I love that they are rebadging DBA rotors as TRD.

tomato86 01-15-2013 04:58 PM

Wailllll, I need that battery tie asap

Dezoris 01-15-2013 05:13 PM

I would just be happy with some friggin OEM all season floor mats!!

Hanakuso your attention to detail is awesome. 360mm isn't much different. was hoping for a 330mm of something.

lantsalot 01-15-2013 05:31 PM

I love a lot of the stuff TRD is pushing out for this car.
But I love not being financially raped more.

tisb0b 01-15-2013 05:40 PM

I wouldn't mind the interior panel set as that looks pretty damn cool.

philstar 01-15-2013 09:05 PM

TRD full bucket seats look jammin!

StOpNG0x 01-15-2013 10:19 PM

Still no fog lights...

What the fuck.

Cuz JP, fog lights are OEM & came as an option. You're mistaken this TRD list. This is TRD JP, not TRD USA.

Correct, in Japan, fog lights are OEM. I hope, fog lights do come soon in USA

That panel kit is cool. btw Nigel-JDMparts has had the sport seats for a while on his site, I wonder whether they'd work in LHD cars because they look sexy. I wish the TRD wheels weren't so expensive :(

Mo707 01-15-2013 10:52 PM

Wait so most of these parts won't fit on the us frs? :/

Find it interesting that with both seat options you loose the side airbags.

I've never had side airbags before, though I wouldn't be in a hurry to loose them!

Lonewolf 01-15-2013 11:02 PM

Well so far the TRD exhaust is available in the US. I know that the drop-in filter is too, but its not on the Scion website yet. The TRD brake pads, springs, wheels, etc., have been out everywhere else for months...we still get screwed.

Don't even get me started about not having oem fogs, center armrest, factory alarm, or some decent stereo options more than half a year after launch.

F U Toyota...:paddle:

The TRD exhaust and drop in filter are not even the same as the one in Japan. Most of the TRD USA is not made by TRD Japan. Many times it's rebranded US stuff

omfg! Fender Aero Fin worth $544 each side :mad0260:

Xdragonxb0i 01-16-2013 12:10 AM

Had to laugh at the description : "Front Fender Aero Fin will improve straight line and cornering stability by making down force installing to front fender."

Hmm....right.:confused0068:

on the bright side, looks like the TRD leather keyfob cover costs a lot less than the STI leather keyfob cover.

so there's that

lazyluka 01-16-2013 02:47 AM

Forget your US fog lights, or interior plastics, there is one crucial part that I find is missing on this list for both JP and US markets:

TRD Oil Cooler

That is all.

They will fit.

Just order the passenger for the driver seat. They pretty much get rid of all the features on the stock seats anyway (airbags, lowering/raising adjustment).

As for TRD USA the drop in filter is the same. The exhaust is not.

switchlanez 01-16-2013 03:00 AM

I just now realized how direct of an influence a certain car had on the TRD strut tower bar.

Because LFA

Because LFA

Hardly a 'direct influence', carbon fibre strut tower bars are manufactured for a lot of cars apart from the LFA.

Bristecom 01-16-2013 06:13 AM

The only thing I'd be interested in out of that is the steering rack bushings. Those might actually give the steering wheel the much needed feedback that's lacking. Of course, having your average mechanic install them is just a recipe for disaster...

I nearly shit myself from laughing. Glad I'm not the only one who thought this was ridiculous. Anyway, this stuff is grossly overpriced. Frankly, there are lots of aftermarket products that are of equal or near equal quality that are significantly cheaper. A lot of the stuff in there won't even affect warranty, so can't bring up that argument...

M1schiev0us 01-16-2013 06:27 AM

Seeing these prices is making me really nervous about how much a TRD supercharger will be. All comments/arguments about the power it will make aside, we can be pretty much certain that it'll be ridiculously expensive. Then again, I suppose that was already a forgone conclusion :brokenheart:

Oh well, here's hoping some of the aftermarket kits get CARB approval...

only the LHD/RHD specific ones.

Anyone else notice that they changed the color on the sound changer?

chenshuo 01-16-2013 09:05 AM

what are the parts that will fit on a BRZ here in US/Canada?

Im gonna be honest..

If USDM come with an option of HID's, Foglights and the dual climate control for the FRS, I'd jump on the FRS. Not because I hate the BRZ's look - because y'all know I love it - but because I have 3 Toyota/Scion dealerships on my way to the nearest Subaru dealer.....
