It's finally here! My Orange GTS AT!
 

Initial impressions are, I LOVE THIS CAR! The auto is fantastic and it handles like a dream.

Draws wayyyyyyyy too much attention though, however this could be due to the colour as well. I actually found the audio system to be very good, but then again i'm not a car audio enthusiast.

Either way, i'm happy :)

Looking forward to bring it to some meets and long cruises :)

As great as this car looks in photos and videos, it's really quite impressive in the flesh. :)

That was the first thing I noticed with my car... It handles great... and you get soooo many people looking... sitting behind you taking pictures!!!

My orange beastie is about 3 weeks away yet, but will so be worth it when I can drive her off the lot :)

I drive a black one, so I am more stealth! :) Or maybe it's just me not noticing!
Funny thing, one lady waved at me showing me the speed limit (which I was driving with) telling me that it applies to me too. Hang on lady, I am driving with 80 in a sports car and believe me is no different than any other car: it is the same speed but thanks for the heads up!

i wouldnt mind organising a big 86 meet (AE86's and ZN6's only) but im new to syd so dont really know any good rds.. i went on tibsy's cruise late last yr, it was a great turn out and i had a blast. can someone organise an another big meet already lol

Look on google maps as it's the best way to find good driving roads.

yea true, but i rather someone who has actually driven the roads and have had first hand experience to guide / organise a route for a cruise

its called a full time job (which i drive to everyday) and prior commitments, dont get me wrong id love to go cruising everyday if i had the resources to

Definitely gets some attention like guys waiting at the front door of the shops when they see me pull up just to ask me how it drives ect
I think the orange colour is awesome, I'm glad I went for something different to the standard white or black.
I'm still breaking mine in and getting used to my first manual car (my first non falcon/commodore also)

Just saying, i've had this car for exactly a week now and i've already clocked 900km on it :) Booking in my 1000km service.
I've only filled up once too by the way, damn thing is fuel efficient even after some spirited driving.

Good to hear @Maj3sty your lucky getting to 900km so quickly currently up in Darwin had mine since last Friday and only done 300km :cry: there is no where to go up here one road in and the next stop is Kathrine which is 300km away and don't want to sit on 130kph for that long while breaking the car in.

Have booked it in for the transporter though to go back to the Gold Coast in mid Feb where I will be able to drive it more and on better roads

Indeed, did you drive off onto Victoria Road? I've seen a fair few of White 86ers on City West Link.
