Cars and Coffee, this Saturday 1/12 8-10AM
 

Hey guys, as I posted, I went to the cars and coffee in Hunt Valley last week and had a blast. I plan to be there again this week and enjoy the projected 61 degree weather. I'll be bringing my buddy who has a BRZ or order as well.

I would recommend anyone who can make it out to come join me and the crew this Saturday. I plan to start attending regularly, and it would be cool if some of you guys could be there too. Let's see if we can get people out this week to meetup and say hello.

It is near the old Best Buy off of Shawan Rd. If you search for Joe's Crab Shack in Hunt Valley, it's right there in the parking lot. 8:00 people gather till 10:00ish.

i usually try to hit that up when I can wake up early enough. Having it at 7am sucks lol

Never been, but I've seen a ton of pics. The cars that show out for that when it's in full swing (read: warm) is AMAZING.

I may go out to katies this weekend as well, depends on being able to wake up though.

Since there will be some headed to Hunts Valley. Who can make it to Great Falls instead? I can meet people there or head together as a group. Shoot me a PM and I'll count and CC who ever is down for a Great Falls meet.

Or if someone from NOVA is headed to Hunts Valley, I can meet up and drive up with you.

We'll see because the FR-S is a dirty mess. If the weather is nice I planned on taking the Boss.

Bummer, but the Boss is cool too. I owned a 89' 5.0 and a 00' GT so I know and can talk Mustangs pretty well too. Always been a Ford man, but got the Miata and the FR-S cause of autocross.

Well the Hunt Valley Autospa opens at 8:00AM. I might try to get there by open and then slide over to cars and coffee. All depends on how wild my Friday night is.

I hit up Katie's Coffee a while back. There's good coffee and plenty of sweet cars to check out. I plan on hitting up Hunt Valley tomorrow providing I wake up in time. ;-). I'll be in my argento FR-S and I believe a friend is coming up with his Mustang. Hope to see some of you there and thanks Areddi for posting.

I mapquested that it's about an hour and 15 minutes away from me...I'd love to meet up with you guys maybe I will in the future.

Don't worry dude, WRB is a common BRZ color at the meets I've been to.. But the BRZ:FRS ratio is roughly 1:5- you're special for the time being lol.

Once my car is done this week or next week, I'll come to every meet I can. Love your S14 with S15 front end. Pure sex in my opinion!

Did Brady figure out what was wrong with your car?

Not really, I guess I should say I didn't find anything wrong with it, I hear the noise he's describing but I think it's just a high frequency vibration. The car pulls strong and feels healthy, it just has a weird noise around 3-3500 rpm, but at idle there's nothing.

The noise only happens when you open the throttle correct? Does it sound like a metallic vibration? I like to describe it as a bunch of angry metallic bees. If so, it's a common sound on our cars- possibly the heatshield on the header shaking.

Brady- did you get to see the plastic shield on my car? Is it screwed up from the drive back?

When I checked it, it looked fine.

Heh, the drive to C&C shot a hard realization home...it's really barely a street car anymore. :\ Such a PITA to drive compared to the BRZ lol. Don't get me wrong...350hp is nice...but not driving a slip and slide rally/drift course to get somewhere is nice too lol

I'll be back at hunt valley tomorrow, hope to see some people there again!
