Visconti Tuning - Latest Forced Induction Tuning Info

I've been doing some pretty neat stuff with Forced Induction FA20 motors so I thought there should be a thread on it.

This thread will keep you informed on the latest a greatest forced induction tuning I'm working on.

Ill post up more in a little bit.

Wait, you know about forced induction?

Pete 01-08-2013 12:50 PM

I do not think that you are allowed here John....

WingsofWar 01-08-2013 12:53 PM

So before I edit my first post.. What super charger is everyone eyeing? Vortech or Innovate?

congiiee 01-08-2013 03:16 PM

Vortech!!

cobrabyte 01-08-2013 03:19 PM

I'm waiting on Innovate because of your unbridled enthusiasm regarding that platform.

Hope the waiting pays off!

Jeff86 01-08-2013 03:22 PM

Very interested in Innovate, but haven't ruled anything out.

djliquidsteele 01-08-2013 03:43 PM

Whichever one has the bigger potential, but leaning toward Innovate.

I like both of them.

I am highly anticipating official numbers & more info about the innovate kit...with flex fuel kit

JoeBoxer 01-08-2013 03:47 PM

Gotta be unique so i'm thinking Litchfield pending pricing info.

Foobar 01-08-2013 03:49 PM

Keeping my options open.

Area86 01-08-2013 03:57 PM

Been keeping an eye on both kits but leaning more toward innovate.

I was eyeing the Innovate, but I couldn't wait any longer. If I like what I see, then I may switch to it.

Frostyman 01-08-2013 04:05 PM

Innovate, totally. I don't like how the vortech takes up all of the room in front of the drive pulleys. I like that space there for big fat radiators, and fans, and oil coolers and, and, and, and.....

and TURBOCHARGERS!!! lol

Supermassive 01-08-2013 04:21 PM

In all seriousness, I am looking forward to some of the stuff John has been messing around with, when it comes to our car and FI. I'm really stoked about how the ECU can control boost pressure on the fly, per gear. Also the work he's been doing with Flex fuel setups has me all tingly inside. Trying to get my car running on my P&L turbo system before John comes out to Phoenix so i can get him to work some magic on it!

Frostyman 01-08-2013 04:21 PM

Please sir, won't you Supercharge my Turbocharger?

gmookher 01-08-2013 04:27 PM

John try becoming a dealer for vortech now.

if and when Innovate is ready, consider them too

either will bring you the meat of the community, and your NA tune following will easily adapt to something like a vortech offering

4 hour installs and wham, bam thank you ma'am, off they go, reliable tuned for 93% of folks

there will be 7% pain in the ass types like me to bill hourly for custom tuning and folks who want to test and take risks and help use a healthy dosage of good judgment, who will help pioneer shit that will make this platform have the bells and whistles you are talking about

keep us posted and what dealership agreements you can offer your customers looking for that which you are offering
e85 flex fuel and vortech sound like something fun to play with, I dont know, seems like a fun way to burn up some money...and rubber

stockysnail 01-08-2013 04:58 PM

Innovate. I'm only interested in twin screw because of the sound, linearity, and always on torque.

WatchmaN 01-08-2013 05:28 PM

Has to be the longuest thread without whp numbrers, so Innovate. Common John show us you have some balls give the numbers you saw. hahahaha

You gave yousefl away in that post in Innovate thread.

January is going to be a fun month.

Lots of Forced induction, lots of Dyno sheet overlays.

This kit is going to be badass.

John

Calum 01-08-2013 05:29 PM

Innovative. I was watching the vortech, but the lack of low end isn't doing it for me.

BTW, I hope you aren't this much of a tease to your wife.

cruzinbill 01-08-2013 05:42 PM

Innovative, for sound and looks. They all make enough power for me.

Hardrock4445 01-08-2013 06:09 PM

Both, depends on reliable power

congiiee 01-08-2013 06:18 PM

Currently I have been looking into the Vortech supercharger because of their high emphasis on reliability and have mostly heard good things about them. Does anybody know anything about Innovate that would like to enlighten me?

brichard0625 01-08-2013 06:35 PM

you should throw a poll up j.. Innovate or Vortech

Sportsguy83 01-08-2013 06:46 PM

@Visconti. Looking forward to your custom AVO tune.

Supermassive 01-08-2013 08:31 PM

P&L Motorsports turbo manifold, downpipe, and other assorted goodies came in the mail today...now just waiting on the damn turbo and Ecutek to get shipped. Seriously hope this thing rocks as hard as everyone who has seen it or driven it says it does.

Visconti 01-08-2013 11:15 PM
