@Hayashi right here, duh! @Bcarlos on page 1 @Jive Turkey on page 2 @Raceseng on page 3 @DAN_BRZ on page 5 New rims finally came in. Loving them so far. Gram Lights 57Xtreme 18 x 9.5 +40 all the way around 225/40/18, its stretched a lot more then I wanted it to be but was kind of the only option. When they wear out I'll consider going up to probably 235/40/18. Right now though I'm not sure if any other tire will fit. There isn't much clearance to the airbags from what I can tell. I'll need to check from under the car. AirRex Digital Air suspension, set all the way down. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-O...0/IMG_9523.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-4...0/IMG_9530.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-D...0/IMG_9535.jpg |

Hello Fellas,
Long time coming. Had these Gram Lights Xtreme installed for a month already, but haven't had the time to post up pics. Anyway, would like to thank Adam from No Limit Motorsports.com. Got hooked up with a great price on these including Tien coilovers. He even included free Muteki lug nuts and hub center rings. Special thanks to dudes like Hayashi and JoeBoxer for helping me out choose which size tires to get. Hope to see you all soon at Irvine and Crossroad meets. Wanna cough up some new mods and ideas from you guys. Next mod is Perrin catback exhaust, filter, and inlet tube from Mike @ teamczp.com |
These wheels look great in every size and color I see. What size tires are you running?
|
245/35 all around. Hankook Ventus V12 tires.

Thanks! Go for it! I first saw them in person on a whiteout.. Its lowered all the way down so can't get any lower. I think they just sit right. Concave gives that aggressive look with this set up even if it pokes out. Here's that pic of the whiteout that convinced me pick up these wheels the following day.. |

18x9.5 +40 265/35/18 FITTED
brought to you by @AZP Installs give them a shout if you need anything, ESPECIALLY alignments and track prep.
18x9.5 +40 semi gloss black Rays Gramlights 57xtreme 265/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 okay here are some recent updates so that people who run something similar dont run into surprises, might as well use my experience to help. First of all, YOU WILL RUB at first. its the plastic part of the rear bumper, its not a big deal and will rub itself out of you can dremel it. (the corner to the bumper inside the fender) Second i had an issue with my passenger fender, it rubbed on the part closest to the sidemarkers. if you feel the fender there, it isn't rolled anymore and flares out, you want to roll that part in to avoid any issues in the future or else you risk chipping the paint or gashing the tire....i luckily caught it early. Third, and probaby most important. once we let the KW's settle we had to take camber out. it settle to around -3.5' in the rear. i did not want to run that much at all, nor do i need that much for clearance issues. we maxed out the camber arms (cusco) which net me a minimum or -2 degrees. once we set the camber to -2 the stock toe arms were simply not enough to fix the toe issue thus i had to order whitline adjustable toe arms. I WILL UPDATE WITH MY FINAL ALIGNMENT SPECS...for now i'm waiting for a few things to be done/come in for the car until i get to drive it and get it back on the alignment rack... http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8248/8...ff1d6f09_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8123/8...ab71ba1d_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8109/8...98791d43_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8120/8...26a14fb5_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8544/8...f619ef36_b.jpg __________________________________________________ ____________________ http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8507/8...84c0ddb8_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8102/8...b896981f_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8091/8...da2fd349_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8385/8...63c73101_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8517/8...60abf6b6_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8248/8...f5c71d0e_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8085/8...49d0f60a_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8371/8...ec617e9b_b.jpg __________________________________________________ ______________________ some photos from the cars and coffee meet sunday, car was filthy  photo credit to: http://www.facebook.com/ColorCinemaProductions http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...20697908_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...16819478_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...57900330_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...12333454_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...39981653_n.jpg |

whitline com C front top hats 2011 sti rear top hats cusco lower control arms. running -2 all around. NO issues. the only place it rubbed was the rear bumper, but that rubbed itself out  i plan on taking some camber out of the rear. -2 is too much IMO. |

looks sick! how much of a drop? I'd be quite conservative running 255\35\18 with same 57xtremes 9.5" ET40 in the rear ) I wounder how negative should I camber them |
This is one of my top favourites on the entire forum, you've done a phenomenal job keeping it clean and classy looking, yet still very sporty and agressive. I'm really impressed, also the dark blue looks really good :)
Do you expect the rears to poke when you adjust the camber down on the rear? The stock camber at the front is 1.5deg correct? I've always wanted these wheels, they just always look so agressive on the fitment - I'd love to see them in person. Also, how do you like the KW's for around town driving? Also, high res of this pic please :) http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8102/8...b896981f_b.jpg |

225 rides pretty good IMO. I haven't had any issues. It even took on a dead bore and won.... Lol. I switch to stocks every now and then for scca and stuff but haven't really noticed a difference in ride quality.

Looks fantastic!
Question for you: Do you have any plans to run mud guards/flaps? I have wider wheels as well (not as wide, but with lower offset, so the exposure is similar) and i'm struggling with spray and rocks and stuff. So i want to protect the side of the car.. However, I can't fit the stock guards with my side skirts.. they don't work together without some serious dremmel action. I don't want to pay the rediculous price for rally armor flaps (plus they stick out too far and look bad in my opinion). Do you have any ideas or concerns, or plans? I'm looking into a company called Flapatax.. hopefully they will have an alternative soon. |
