Exhaust was smooth and fitment was great! Our customer took advantage of our New Years special on the Invidia Q300 and front pipe exhaust. :) http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...97836409_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...30764250_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...63287317_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...99458268_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...88199583_n.jpg Video to come soon! |

I recently installed the Q300 on my BRZ and was surprised at how quiet it is. A little more rumble then stock but it's barely noticeable even when I get on it to redline. I still hear the intake growl over the exhaust. Does the frontpipe make it noticeably louder? I'm planning on a Berk catted frontpipe (cheapest of the bunch) but would like to know if it will open up with this mod or stay relatively quiet.

Just a quick video of the exhaust :D |
Sounds great. Are you throwing any CELs /Oxy sensor codes? I've purchased both but currently only had the cat back Q300 exhaust installed. I was waiting to install the front catless pipe once I was able to confirm that it didn't effect the Oxy sensor readings. Do tell....

Very nice! your setup is very similar to my BRZ. WRB BRZ & 18" Matt black Work 11r's

Is it still possible to pass emissions tests with the Invidia Q300 cat back and catless front pipe?
|
Damn I love this setup....and it's not too expensive...

For everyone asking about emissions and codes etc...
We have two Cats, the primary is in the header. Primary 02 sensor is just before the primary cat, secondary 02 sensor is just after the primary cat. So long as you leave teh stock header in place you wont need to do anything to prevent check engine lite etc. If you live in a state that does visual inspection you may or may not pass with the test pipe. If you live in a state that just does the standard OBD-2 test (plug in to the OBD connector, if the drice cycle is complete and there are no set or pending codes you will pass) you have nothing to worry about. To the OP, thanks for posting!, I'm sold on the Q300 but I am probably going with the Nameless front pipe with cat since I plan to remove the primary cat at somepoint. |
i have same set up with injen intake and perrin pulley its awesomeee

Hi guys,
I have the Q300 catback without anything else. But recently my check engine light came on. But the exhaust was installed 2 month ago. Is there anything in not doing it right? Even after I flash back to stock it still shows the light is still there |

get the code read, it might not even be exhaust related at all......... you shouldnt be getting any codes with just a cat back |
Engine light
I scanned the code and it was P0134, and P0030 O2 sensor and HO2S. The dealer cant do anything since my exhaust is aftermarket and i didnt wanna argue so im looking for a possible solution or anyone who has encounter it. exhaust was installed 2 month ago and I had scraped it hard twice due to the dirt road rocks.
