Which CCW wheels do you think are going on?

http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/...psd6072f21.jpg

Here's a sneak peak of the wheels on the car. We threw them on real quick just to get an idea of what they would look like on the car, but no stance work has been done yet. More pics soon...

Hey, looking forward to meeting you at some point. My car has been up there a few tiems but never as extensively modded as yours is going. I'm going for RTR Class with SCCA so Im limited on my mods.

I wanted to ask you at some point if we could work something out with your front struts. I have Koni front inserts coming and I need a donor set so they can be prepped without taking my car off of the road. I can give you my OEM when we're done incase you want to ever go back to stock. Or if you're willing to see them cheap, I'll buy them off of you.

orlfrs86 01-05-2013 12:24 AM

Hey brother, thanks for the message. Can't wait to meet you guys, too. I know a few of you go out to the meets at Sonics. I look forward to getting out there once we're done.

As for the front struts, you're more than welcome to make me an offer. I have no idea what those are worth.. lol. But I am more than willing to help out anyone associated with Rev Works. It's one big family!

GTB/ZR-1 01-05-2013 09:08 PM

You don't mess around!

How much are they looking to charge for that header?

orlfrs86 01-05-2013 09:48 PM

I'm not sure yet. I'm assuming once they're done they will have a better idea of how much time/work goes into making it and they will price it accordingly. It's the first time they're attempting to make one for an FR-S/BRZ, so this whole process should be interesting. I'm super excited about having that subie rumble, though!! My STi has a Blitz Nur Spec exhaust (deep/nasty rumble, which came off Matt's STi.. thanks Matt!!) and I would love the FR-S to have a similar note. Posting Youtube videos once it's in and we're doing Dyno runs to see some #'s.

orlfrs86 02-13-2013 08:34 PM

New pics up... more coming soon. A big thanks to Rev Works for the great work and to Dan at CCW for helping us custom design some amazing wheels! The UEL headers sound great. Dyno results to be posted soon.

carlitosway6891 02-13-2013 09:56 PM

Id be down to meet up with you guys too! Great build btw!!

ImAwesome 02-13-2013 10:28 PM

love it, cant wait to see what happens

TeamZleep 02-13-2013 10:31 PM

This sounded amazing this past weekend!!!

Kinda bummed I missed the meet tonight.

orlfrs86 02-14-2013 11:47 AM

Thanks for all the feedback, guys. It has certainly been a process picking and choosing parts, wheels/tires, etc. We're working with a car that's relatively new to the aftermarket world, so we're definitely doing our research and going with brands that have a proven track record, provide top notch quality, and have good company support behind them. All of this while building a unique but balanced project that most FR-S/BRZ/GT86 enthusiasts can be proud of.

I think a lot of people are going to be excited about hearing the M7 Exhaust with the Rev Works UEL headers. And let me tell you, the headers sound amazing by themselves (stock exhaust)! I don't want to give too much away, but the dyno numbers were pretty impressive.

You are correct. I was thinking about going with a polished wheel but they are so high maintenance, especially here in Florida where it rains a lot. I've got a set of Linea Corse's on my STi and I'm always cleaning them. But they look so badass. I'm going for the Copper/Black theme on the FR-S.

I know, I should have looked more into that. The grimmspeed's look so sweet. Maybe I'll switch them out eventually. Thanks for the suggestion.

Pics of CCW's on car should be up by Tuesday or Wednesday! Hoping the Stance coilovers don't give me any trouble.

orlfrs86 02-16-2013 06:37 PM

This M7 Japan T-Titan Full Catback Sports Muffler should be on the car in a few days:

I'm sure it'll sound amazing with the UEL headers and the Perrin front/overpipe!

Nice! Can't wait to see how they look!! I had a tough time choosing since they can do so many different things with their wheel options, but I'm sure whatever you choose is going to look great!

Yeah, luckily this car wasn't my daily so I had an opportunity to just have the shop do the modifications I wanted done right away. The shop mechanic actually broke the car in for me as parts were starting to show up, so once we actually started installing things the engine was over 1,000 miles. The car should be done in less than a week.

orlfrs86 02-19-2013 07:01 PM

A teaser pic of the CCW's is up as well as a pic of the M7 Japanese exhaust. Rev Works is finishing up the stance work on the wheels and tying up a few loose ends. More updates coming this week.

Then it's off to Audio Excellence for all the other goodies and back to Rev Works for the tune (waiting for things to come in).

Yeah I hear that! Car looks good! What specs you end up running?

ihaskrayon 02-21-2013 06:18 PM

Would like to hear it with the UEL headers. I miss my WRX's rumble.

SloS13 02-21-2013 06:35 PM

Those wheels look incredible. Well done.

I'm posting videos soon. We had the uel header, over/front pipe, and the full exhaust on and it sounds wayyyy too loud (no cat, no resonator)! Kinda raspy, but like race car raspy, deep loud... lol. We're throwing a Vibrant resonator on there to tone it down some. I will post a video once I get a chance.
