Finally a good looking single exit!

If its anything like the other Expreme Ti's exhausts from Tomei, its probably going to be the best exhaust money can buy for the 86.

It will be interesting to see if the BRZ/FR-S version is similar in cost to the models for other cars, which are pretty cheap. I've seen them go for a little over $1K. I'm not a fan of the single exit look on the car and I'm sure it will be loud and raspy but can't beat the weight savings.

Hope it doesn't kill the aero when it replaces the stock muffler section...

I was thinking the same. I hope someone comes out with a cheap "diffuser" to keep the drag low

Don't worry about the diffuser. I had this on my Evo X, best exhaust I've had after an Amuse Ti

How'd you decide it was good looking? I see no pictures of the rear of the car, just the can. Looks like a generic melon launcher with some blue...

From what i have seen from the 86 festival pics, its mine favourite 86/BRZ exhaust. Much nicer looking than all does generic dual exit's.

Is the complete exhaust titanium or just the tip?

Complete, and they are pretty cheap. Around the $1000.

Two things I want from this exhaust.

1. Exit from the driver's side w/ an upward-left angle (subtle)
2. 70mm piping size

Oh and it would be nice if it's right around $1000... which I have my doubt with.

I was wondering if they were going to release an exhaust for the car. Can't wait to see how much the weight drops and hear it in action.

No way. Tomei is one of the most reliable, high quality brands out there.

I went to their workshop and the standard of their workplace and craftsmanship is out of control. One guy there has been building cams for as long as the company has been around... I hear he's pretty good :) In any case yeah the end product will be awesome, the last I heard from them was late July or August for release.

In the end I went with Perrin cause I couldn't wait and wanted two tips... ohwell!

Maybe he will make cams for this engine too :w00t:

Anyone know what the differences are between the Type 60R, Type 60S, & Type 80? Also, is 109,000 yen confirmed for the price?

I had this on my evo x and i absolutely love the sound at wot! I hope they will eventually make header back and cams! Will go nicely with toda throttle body :)

Our Shop EVO X has the Tomei catback on it and it sounds amazing! Quality is top notch and just about everything on this exhaust is beautiful. A couple of the guys here run these on their own cars, a 11 STi and a 94 JDM GF8, and it sounds amazing on a Subaru. I am anxiously awaiting for the release on this exhaust :)

60 and 80 probably indicates the piping size 60mm and 80mm. As for R and S, it most likely means resonated and straight (non-resonated)....
